Are Western Leaders Insane?

I think it’s called projection in psychology: you blame the other
guy for doing the very evil that you are actually perpetrating.

Most laymen just call it hypocrisy…………but you get the idea.

Western leaders are attempting to label Russia and Syria as
war criminals. This amazing allegation comes after years of
US/NATO attacks against innocent countries in clear violation
of the UN Charter and the Nuremberg principles outlawing
wars of aggression.

All of this while they armed, trained and funded the very fighters
they are supposed to be against and while they remain silent at
the continuing slaughter of Yemeni civilians by our Saudi “ally!”

The comically sad part of these charges is that it represents
on the most childish level bad sportsmanship. Because Syria
is succeeding in defeating Western back anti-Assad forces with
the help of Russia, we are accusing them of cheating while
threatening to take our ball with us and leave the game.

On the more serious level, this kind of hypocritical action has
created the high potential for direct confrontation between the
US/NATO and Russia leading to World War III.

One has to question the sanity of folks who keep raising the stakes
unnecessarily to divert attention from their massive corruption and
failed foreign policy judgment.

While the US election is mired in the slime of sexual politics, tax
avoidance and other matters of little substance, the world moves
ever closer to further escalation of the unending wars currently
festering in various parts of the globe.

Few express their disdain for these people more profoundly and
eloquently than Paul Craig Roberts:

With prospects for peace waning by the hour and the hope for a
new president who might change things growing dimmer every day,
the predicament of “we the people” who want to lead normal lives
has never been greater.
