War is the only serious political issue in this campaign. Everything else is
a side-show to distract and polarize the electorate.

War is truly an “unmentionable” topic because it goes to the heart of what we
have become: an Empire rather than a Republic!
All the major candidates from both parties support more war. Obama finessed
his first election by stating how he opposed the Iraq War. Sanders is attempting
to do the same by reminding us he voted against it.
But like the Neocons and Wall Street billionaires whom they denigrate, both men
have fully backed all our recent wars with Sanders apparently willing to do the
same should he capture the White House in 2016 (see the above article).
We know Hillary is a full-fledged Neocon hawk as are all the Republicans except
(maybe) Trump who has teased us with his confusing pronouncements about NATO,
Russia, avoiding intervention, Bush lying us into war and 9/11 being a possible
false flag.
But time has revealed his true colors and a closer inspection of his remarks along
with the pedigrees of his foreign policy advisors shows clearly that the man who wants
to “Make America Great Again” is a hawk who might use torture, nukes and staged
terror attacks as an excuse to justify a more aggressive use of force than even Obama
whom he calls weak.
The Military-Industrial-Complex is fully ascendant in America today. We were warned
by Ike about its dangers while the Founders told us to avoid foreign entanglements.
But foreign entanglements are what we do best whether by invasion for regime change;
using “economic hitmen” like John Perkins to destabilize nations we oppose; unleashing
the CIA to overthrow foreign leaders; or supporting sovereignty-disrupting trade deals like
NAFTA, GATT and the TPP to transform the political character of our nation from what
the Constitution established into a New World Order.
America is toast! Elections are a farce! A few brave souls attempt to inform us in
rational terms about what we’ve become but are drowned out or marginalized by the
media who turn the elections into a grade school circus.
Gerald Celente; Paul Craig Roberts; Jesse Ventura; Cynthia McKinney; Tulsi Gabbard;
and Ron Paul are part of a small group of leaders and pundits who have attempted in
word and deed to enlighten the public who remain willfully ignorant and/or comfortably
angry at all politicians.
Sanders and Trump have captured the most attention but when all is said and done,
seven months from now, little will have changed no matter who becomes the Commander
in Chief.
We already have a Fascist state with welfare for the rich through the warfare state and
welfare for the poor via entitlements. The left and right are bought off as the nation dies.
Until someone has the courage, integrity and ability to speak truth to power and take on
the most important political issue we face as a country, the future of America is bleak!
War is now more than a racket: it has invaded the very fiber of our cultural soul and made
us into something we only see in “them” when those we so gleefully demonize are as much
a reflection of us as they are the evil beings we are so eager to fight.
In the last few decades, American wars have killed large numbers of innocent civilians and
combatants, perhaps millions. Now the prospect of unleashing nuclear weapons by us or
other countries will make those numbers possibly puny by comparison:

The time for peace is now! The time to address the issue of war was yesterday. Wake up
America…………please! https://stateofthenation2012.com/?p=32281
