Scandal rocked Hollywood last Thursday as bombshell allegations made against Harvey Weinstein in The New York Times led to his termination at his own company and set off a chain reaction that is exposing many in Hollywood and Washington, D.C., including the former First Lady Michelle Obama, who once lauded Weinstein.

The Times reported on October 5 that Weinstein reached settlements with at least eight different women over allegations of sexual harassment. On Tuesday, the allegations became more serious as three women came forward accusing Weinstein of rape.

As allegations continue to mount and the outlook for Weinstein becomes more dire, a video of Michelle Obama gushing over Weinstein in 2013 at a student film symposium has come to light.

Weinstein reportedly had a close relationship with numerous Democrats, including the Clintons and the Obamas — both of whom finally made statements condemning Weinstein on Tuesday, five days after the scandal broke.

Visitor logs revealed that Weinstein visited the Obama White House 13 times between 2010 and 2014.
