I have purposely conflated the titles of two fantastic books that provide extensive research
into how the US went off track during the Cold War and why JFK was murdered by the CIA.
Both Robert David Steele in his review of David Talbott’s The Devil’s Chessboard and
Edward Curtin in his article about JFK and the Unspeakable by James Douglas provide
ample evidence to support claims of Deep State criminality in the 1963 murder of the president.
Curtin and Steele make clear why it matters today that we talk about “unspeakable” matters. That is made more obvious by the recent release of the JFK files that go far in undermining the official narrative of the Warren Commission as well as the complex machinations swirling in DC today surrounding Russia, Trump, the Clintons (Uranium One) and the 2016 election.
Those files include material that supports the research of people like Jim Marrs, Mark Lane, Jim DeEugenio and countless others over the years that Oswald was not just a patsy but a CIA/FBI operative; that more than one shooter was involved; that top officials like Dulles, Hoover, Johnson, Ford, and Daddy Bush were complicit; and that the CIA controlled media played a significant role in perpetuating the cover-up.
The files are so explosive they include evidence that Hitler survived WWII, another long
held claim of conspiracy researchers. They even throw in LBJ’s apparent membership in
the KKK and more important: that Oswald and Ruby knew each other prior to 11/22/63!
For those reluctant to embrace conspiracies, the information shows that they are indeed real and that our government is heavily invested in preventing us from learning the truth about them.
(The only thing missing is reference to JFK’s effort to work with the Russians in Outer Space including disclosing the possible presence of ETs on earth.)
All of this is quite damning in its implications that the National Security State that Ike warned us about in his Farewell Address of January, 1961 has indeed triumphed over the democratic institutions ostensibly created by the United States Constitution.
It appears that the military-industrial complex that took out JFK remains so powerful that it is poised to remove the current incumbent, President Trump, whose tenacity in opposing the Deep State has been the object of their scorn for over two years.
His authorization to release the JFK files appears to put him in exactly the same type of
jeopardy as Kennedy himself who is said to have wanted “to splinter the CIA into a thousand pieces” after the failed Bay of Pigs attack of April, 1961, only three months after he took office.
Is Trump truly taking on the Deep State as many believe or is he merely going through the motions as others claim in order to throw the public off the scent of his real agenda? With so much corruption airing in DC and so much dangerous activity unfolding on the Grand Chessboard, it is essential that we confront the unspeakable and address the devilish, dark forces that are jeopardizing the peace and prosperity of us all.
Our failure to do so almost guarantees a future more bleak and devastating than the more positive one that might unfold if we can summon the courage to work for a better tomorrow. As a society, we must move beyond the “no-talk rules” that have prevented us from exposing corruption, sexual predation and the systematic manipulation of an entire nation through false narratives and official lies like those pertaining to the Kennedy assassination.
If Douglas is correct that JFK was killed by the National Security State because of “his conversion from a Cold Warrior into a man of peace” which has succeeded for 54 years in covering that up, then it is very late in the day for those of us wanting to see an end to these endless wars and who are now stuck with a leader as flawed as our incumbent.
We need to start talking and soon or we will implode into an abyss of deceit. Then the devil will have won.
