The world is obviously in big trouble with conditions resembling
aspects of August 1914 that preceded WWI as well as those
that existed before the start of WWII on September 1, 1939.
The upcoming G20 meeting in two weeks will provide a huge opportunity
for Presidents Trump and Putin to create some positive change and defuse
global tensions.

His latest threats toward Syria might convince the folks at home into
supporting the ouster of Assad but will do little to satisfy the public
position of the Russians.

With a mini-regime change in Saudi Arabia and with Israel attacking
Southwest Syria, lots of posturing is going on prior to the big meet-up
in Hamburg. The most serious question for many is whether their will
be a financial and currency reset to promote economic growth or whether
there will be more saber-rattling and confrontation.
