I cried along with everyone else watching that poor widow struggle to keep her composure as she and her late husband were used to manipulate Congress and the American people into supporting our Imperial wars.
Can you say Pat Tillman? Can you say Saddam has WMD? Can you say Osama did 9/11? They all worked to perfection in getting naive and decent folks on board for war. If someone as sophisticated as Jones can be fooled, he’s right that most citizens will follow suit and allow Trump a full 8 years. But 8 years of what?
Oh yeah: those nasty Yemeni terrorists are gathering by the…………….ones and twos…………to storm the beaches of California or the Jersey shore to attack helpless Americans. Let’s destroy them and all those other nasty radical Islamic terrorists……………that the CIA helps fund.
Give me a break! Talk about fake news, President Trump. You know the mission was an unnecessary failure inspired by someone (Steve Bannon, maybe?) perhaps to demonstrate your willingness to use military force early in your Administration. Unless, of course, it was an Obama holdover mission designed to horribly fail in order to embarrass you.
This salacious, political exploitation by the Trump team dishonored a fallen soldier in the name of imperialism and Pax Americana to cover up a botched military operation seems to have fooled nearly everyone.

And, of course, he skipped the part about the 8-year-old American girl being killed after she was shot and bled to death for 2 hours. Kinda reminds you of domestic police raids where innocent civilians get caught in the crossfire by over zealous cops.
It was brilliant and sickening. Seeing the entire Congress standing to give that young woman a prolonged ovation to honor her husband demonstrates both their bipartisan complicity in our unending imperial wars and an overt act of complete denial of responsibility for perpetuating these evil acts in our name decade after decade.
Trump knows the desperate people of Yemen are fighting the US-backed Saudis. He knows that the Saudis espouse the philosophy used by ISIS and are the ones who along with Israel, the Emirates and US intelligence fund the very folks supposed to be committing terrorism. He knows the Saudis are implicated in 9/11!
Yet he sent his new CIA chief to the Kingdom to reward one of their princes with a Freedom medal! Amazing: how cynical can it get!

That is truly Orwellian. Trump lied to the public to win the election. We knew what Hillary would do. Now we are seeing that he is just a more clever and photogenic version of John McCain. Other than Tulsi Gabbard and Dennis Kucinich, the Left remains speechless about these disgusting wars, while they focus on how “racist” Trump is and whatever else the Congresswomen in white claim he lacks in political wisdom.
