The Continuation of Globalism Under Trump

Despite his words to the contrary, president-elect Trump is likely to be just as much of
a globalist promoting American Exceptionalism as his predecessors Bush and Obama,
or had she won, former Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton.

As one author points out, Trump represents a change of tactics rather than a major break
from the past. http://www.informationclearinghouse.info/46054.htm

His campaign rhetoric brilliantly rallied millions of disaffected voters to the cause of
“Making America Great Again” by promising economic prosperity and an end to
foreign interventions.

But he quickly showed his hand after election day as to his true agenda by giving a very
pro-Israel speech that was followed by political appointments demonstrating that the aim
of his Administration remains Pax Americana.

Yes, the Main Stream Media were unrelenting in their support for Clinton and their
attacks on Trump. https://stateofthenation2012.com/?p=59866

But those behind the scenes brilliantly orchestrated a bait and switch by cleverly relying
on the showmanship qualities of the NY realtor to capture the hearts of the masses. That
was made easier by the litany of scandals that overwhelmed his opponent.

Choosing obscure business leader Rex Tillerson to be Secretary of State whose strong ties
to Kissinger and the Neocons are totally ignored by the MSM is a perfect example of what
we can expect from Trump’s foreign policy in the years ahead.

As Christopher Hitchens has written: “American politics is all about the manipulation of
the populists by the elitists.” That worked to perfection in 2008 and 2012 with Obama’s
Hope and Change only to be repackaged in 2016 with Trump leading the charge.

Had we seen a single Ron Paul Libertarian or even liberal antiwar Democrat Tulsi Gabbard make it to his prospective cabinet, one could claim that perhaps a new leaf was about to be turned. https://stateofthenation2012.com/?p=59698

Instead we get promises of dramatic increases in military spending, confrontation with Iran, tough talk with China and the remote possibility of accommodation towards Russia.

In other words, nothing is going to change when it comes to constraining the Military-
Industrial Complex or stopping foreign wars. The focus might shift to Iran and China instead of Syria, Iraq and Libya. And some form of detente with Russia is possible for now despite a hostile bipartisan Congress which has already acted to limit the new president’s ability to work with Putin. http://tass.com/defense/917920

The good news about Trump’s victory is how effective he was in busting up both of the
major parties while demonstrating the Orwellian nature of the MSM:

Having hinted at going after the Deep State that really controls things, Trump has shifted
the focus away from the global agenda which remains at the heart of his team. All mention
of 9/11, CIA funding of ISIS, Obama’s birth certificate, the Clinton Foundation corruption,
Pizza-gate, or any other scandal that can bring down the NWO cabal have disappeared
from his lips.

It appears such controversial “truther” items will be buried along with other “fake news” and ignored as so much “toxic silliness!”

With Trump we have the likely prospect of Greater Israel and Zionists controlling US foreign policy as it has for decades. The nomination of David Friedman as Ambassador to Israel along with the commitment to move the capitol from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem combined with his anti-Muslim rhetoric provides the basis Trump needs to secure a political legacy for his son-in-law Jared Kushner. http://www.informationclearinghouse.info/46052.htm

Once again, we are likely to see an effort for US led global domination under Trump. Only
the continued vigilance of the exploited electorate that demands a true peace agenda can
lead to the end of US imperialism.

Those praying for a new populist party that unites the left and right must build on the
foundation erected by Trump to insure that his words form the basis for something bigger
than him and a truly new direction for America.
