Kanye West’s 911 Call Described as ‘Psychiatric Emergency’ Between Paramedics: Listen to Audio

Kanye West‘s health scare was described as a “psychiatric emergency” in a 911 call between responders, TMZ reports.

The site released audio of the exchange on Tuesday, November 22, hours after the rapper, 39, was hospitalized. In the muffled clip, several paramedics can be heard speaking to one another.

“Rescue 41, psychiatric emergency,” one man says. Later, a second responder chimes in: “We’re on the scene here.”

As previously reported, authorities were called to the home of West’s trainer Harley Pasternak in L.A. on Monday night. Per TMZ, Kim Kardashian’s husband was acting “erratically” and was restrained before being transported to UCLA Medical Center for psychiatric evaluation.

A source told Us Weekly that West has been “suffering from exhaustion and sleep deprivation” lately. “[He] went to the hospital today on his own will and under the consultation of his physician,” the insider noted.

West’s odd behavior made headlines just days earlier. On Saturday, he ended his Sacramento, California, show after just 30 minutes and ranted about Jay Z, Beyoncé and Hillary Clinton. He would later cancel the rest of his concerts for his Saint Pablo tour.

Additionally, West — who often goes on epic Twitter rants — posted more than 90 random fashion magazine photos on his Instagram account in a short amount of time on Sunday.

Fans went from posting the hashtag #KanyeIsOverParty to #PrayforKanye on social media following his health scare.
