Democrats Will Be Trounced In Midterm Elections Because Of Flawed ACA
Even after Obama unilaterally and illegally continues to alter the Affordable Care Act (ACA) to his own liking, and for overwhelmingly political reasons, Obamacare is an unmitigated disaster. The Republican side knows this, and permits the president to tinker with it until the midterm elections. Why not?
Putting bandaids on this dam that’s about to burst will only serve the electoral goals of the GOP. Just as we saw in the recent outcome of the special election in Florida’s 13th District between Alex Sink (D) and David Jolly (R). The context here is particularly important to understand if one is to appreciate how instrumental Obamacare was in determining the GOP win.
Alex Sink lost the 2010 governor’s race in Florida to Rick Scott by less than one percentage point. This trend of Democrats losing to Republicans who they should have beaten will only continue as long as Obamacare remains in the law of the land. This, quite simply, is only one reason why the ACA is the “BIGGEST Legislative Disaster In US History”.
