Evidence of a ‘Secret Society’ Conducting a Coup Must Be Examined — Law Professor

Turley: Reports of ‘Secret Society’ at DOJ ‘Create a Troubled Picture’

FOX News

George Washington University Law Professor Jonathan Turley said new “data points” in the investigation into the legitimacy of actors in the Trump-Russia and Clinton email probes are “troubling.”

“You have a lot of these data points that create a troubled picture,” he said.

Turley said that America has passed the “fail-safe line,” in that the investigations have gone on long enough that they must be allowed to run their courses.

As Fox News Insider previously reported:

According to [South Carolina Republican Rep. Trey] Gowdy, the messages included a reference to a “secret society” within the Department of Justice and the FBI the day after Trump won the election in November 2016.

“It’s the day after the election and it’s the same two people who were discussing a little bit later in the texts the damage they had done with the Clinton investigation and how they could ‘fix it’ and make it right,” Gowdy said. “That is a level of bias that is stunning among law enforcement officers.”

But, Turley warned that such a development doesn’t mean “for sure” that the officials were serious about the “secret meetings.”

He also commented on former FBI Director James Comey being hired to teach a class on ethical leadership at the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Va.
