The coming G20 in Hamburg next month is bound to be filled with a high
degree of drama as Presidents Trump and Putin finally meet amidst

While many Americans applaud Trump’s toughness with the Russians over
Syria, some at home and many around the world find his tactics troubling
because he relies on lies as the basis for his negotiations.

As Seymour Hersh documents, Assad’s alleged chemical attack in April
that Trump used as a pretext for his strike on the Syrian airbase was based
on false intelligence like W’s claims of WMDs regarding Iraq in 2003:

Americans might not “get” that…….but Putin certainly does. Trump may think
he is being clever but doesn’t seem to be fooling anyone. His adoption of a
pro-Israel policy that could see them attacking Syria and Iran soon is designed

As the latest headlines report, Putin appears to be calling Trump’s bluff and may

Escalation is occurring in the run-up to the Big Meet. The world has entered
a unique period of danger reminiscent of the Cuban Missile Crisis in 1962. These
