FBI testifies in court about pretend documentary scheme

(INTELLIHUB) — Undercover FBI agents disguised themselves as documentary filmmakers in order to gather evidence against Bundy Ranch supporters during the 2014 standoff, according to a report in the Las Vegas Review-Journal.
According to the report, FBI Special Agent Charles Johnson recently testified in court that the FBI used a fake film crew for a supposed documentary titled “America Reloaded” which allowed them to gather evidence against the Bundy supporters that is now being used in their trial.
The FBI agents videotaped undercover interviews with numerous people on the ground, including two of the Bundy supporters on trial, Scott Drexler and Eric Parker.
“Federal prosecutors played the videos in court Wednesday during Johnson’s testimony, and in doing so, gave jurors a window into the defendants’ minds. Drexler told the undercover agent he drove to the Bundy family ranch after reading about the protests online,” read the report.
The now infamous standoff began in April 2014 after the Bureau of Land Management started impounding ranch Cliven Bundy’s cattle following a disputed government order that the Bundy family had to pay $1 million in grazing fees that they supposedly owed to the federal government.
What followed was an intense armed standoff between Bundy and his supporters and the BLM which ended in what many in the patriot community saw as a victory after the BLM finally decided to release the Bundy cattle.
Sadly, two years later an armed standoff at a wildlife refuge in Oregon led by Cliven’s sons eventually ended in the murder of rancher LaVoy Finicum and the arrest of most of the leaders of the standoff. Shortly after, many of the participants in the original Bundy standoff were also arrested.
While many that followed the story already knew that the FBI had infiltrated the group, we now know that in Nevada they actually pretended to be patriot filmmakers in order to get the Americans on the ground to feel comfortable speaking to them.
Now if we could just get confirmation as to who the FBI informants were in Oregon that allowed the set up and murder of Finicum….
