Putting America First Means Avoiding Foreign Entanglements!

Rather than learning the lessons of history and following the advice of our
Founders to avoid foreign entanglements, President Trump is rushing
headlong into numerous global hotspots.

This would seem to be inconsistent with his campaign rhetoric and powerful
Inauguration Speech in which he promised to put America first. Instead he
is continuing the same failed foreign policy of his predecessors in the Middle
East, Ukraine and elsewhere. http://www.veteranstoday.com/2017/02/02/trump-pursuing/

Despite an upbeat phone call to President Putin promising cooperation, the
likelihood of them working together grows dimmer by the moment:

After putting Iran on notice, Trump has quickly imposed new sanctions to punish them for testing a ballistic missile:

(Was the Houthi attack on a Saudi ship a false flag intended to justify war against Iran?

Merely a few days into his term, he launched an attack into Yemen:

His promise of creating safe zones in Syria is likely to require boots on the ground and an
escalation of our illegal invasion of that sovereign nation:

His deep emeshment in the internal affairs of Israel only exacerbates a very delicate
situation. Supporting or opposing settlement expansion only complicates our involvement
and ends up manifesting hatred from all sides.

Trump’s Defense Department is considering the effects of nuking Russia and China:

Speaking of China, tensions keep ratcheting up with them:

How much of this love of war-making has to do with the influence of his key advisor,
Steve Bannon, remains unknown:

What is known and deeply troubling is that on two weeks into a new Administration, President Trump is acting far more like John McCain and Hillary Clinton than he is the man folks thought they were getting when they voted for him last November 8th!

Will President Trump disengage from our imperial adventures abroad that have undermined our good will in the world, drained our treasury and increased our reliance on force by an over-extended military? Will he put America First and make us great again by following the truly conservative advice of those who Founded our nation?

As things now stand, don’t bet on it!
