Locus Of Global Power Shifts From The West To The East

Anglo-American Axis Losing Power and Influence;
BRICS Alliance Gains

State of the Nation

The Earth has always spun in the same way.  The planet rotates so that the rising sun always appears in the east and sets in the west, no matter where you happen to live.  In the same way, civilizations have both risen and fallen.  Religions and philosophies have likewise come into vogue as the sun moves from the East to the West.  And so it will be for the once dominant political economies of the modern era.

True to this timeless cycle of global transformation, the Marxist Communism of both the USSR and China disintegrated at the end of the last century.  Each nation was destined to be released from its own fatally flawed version of quasi-Marxist Communism.  Both countries have since struggled to find the form of governance and political economy which accommodates their societies and meets the needs of their people.  The challenge has been made more difficult in trying to find the right balance in today’s highly complex and interconnected world.  Another determining factor, that is often overlooked, is how well the system of governance fits the temperament of the current generation of leaders. Were there to be a gross mismatch in this regard, only dissension within and discord without will result.

Likewise, the Anglo-Amercian Axis (AAA), which includes the European Union and many other military and economic proxies, are on the cusp of seeing the demise of their brand of Corporate-Crony Capitalism that currently predominates across the planet.  Although there are different forms of capitalism found throughout the world today, it is this highly pernicious form of predatory capitalism, which has been administered by the Anglo-American Axis (AAA) since its inception, that is about to experience a similar fate as Sino-Soviet Communism did.

It has often been said: “As Russia goes, so goes the USA.”

That time has now arrived.  Except that there are now those throughout the AAA who seem to feel that they can thwart destiny.  And, they are working triple time to forestall the inevitable, regardless that such destiny has been preordained for aeons.  How, pray tell, do the once dominant British Empire, as well as the now crumbling American Empire, feel they can stop the inexorable forces of national destiny and global transformation?  Here’s how one prescient author put it;

“Furthermore, the [Anglo-American] empire could no longer be sustained politically, financially, practically or ethically, as the seeds of its own destruction had fully sprouted.  The most fatal seed grew into that extremely corrupt and predatory form of corporate, crony capitalism which was so socially unconscious, and so environmentally unaware, it was quite doomed from the very beginning.”
(Source: GLOBAL MONEY MATRIX SELF DESTRUCTS)

History is replete with examples of once invincible empires and kingdoms falling in a night and a day.  All of them exhibited the very same symptoms before their collapse, as we see manifesting today wherever Anglo-American capitalism has prevailed.  Therefore, it behooves those who rule the realm to let nature takes it course, as it did with Egypt, Persia, Greece, Rome and all the other ‘great’ empires of antiquity.  Just as the center of power moved from Rome to London to Washington over centuries, so to will the dominant nations move westward to the slowly emerging powerhouses of the East — toward Asia.

The time-tested mechanisms and outworking of this transfer of mundane power are neatly hidden in history.  Therefore, the historical record reflects what the future holds in store for the new world that is now upon us.  Since “those who ignore history are always forced to repeat it”, this essay ought to serve as a cautionary tale.  After all, the world stage is really nothing but a cosmic set in which history has shown us the same basic dramas since time immemorial.  Costumes change, actors are replaced, the sets are rearranged, but the essential stories are quite similar throughout the rise and fall of every ‘invincible’ empire.

The overarching theme of the current world drama concerns greed and power.  By exercising absolute control over the earthly realm, those who populate the upper reaches of the Global Economic and Financial Control Matrix (GE&FCM) were able to continually satisfy their greed.  Their insatiable desires for more in turn fueled their urges to exert more control.  Hence, a never-ending downward spiral of uncontrollable desires breeding the need to exert absolute control to gratify those desires set up a self-reinforcing negative feedback loop.

The True State of the Markets Illustrates the Real State of Affairs

The real estate, stock, bond, currency, commodity, derivative, insurance, etc. markets have all exhibited a degree of flux never before seen in the modern age.  In a phrase, they are all on the fritz.  The reasons are many and varied.  However, the root cause of each of them is the same.  An illusion was carefully created by those who established them at the outset of the Industrial Revolution.  Then, they were obligated to maintain it in a forever growing (and purposefully grown) marketplace fraught with unknown variables, hidden factors, unforeseen consequences and the like.

What used to take a man behind the curtain not too unlike the Wizard of Oz with smoke and mirrors, now requires armies of men and women in the employ of so many alphabet soup agencies like the CIA, NSA, DHS, DIA, DEA, FBI, FED, SEC, FCC,  … … … weaving their respective webs of illusion wherever their magic is needed to cast a spell.  Of course, their “main man” in this planetary enterprise is the MSM.  The mainstream media, also known as the MSM, is the critical cog in this deliberately built machine that incessantly produces of magical spells.

Only through the systematic intervention into the economies of the world by these agencies does the matrix (GE&FCM) maintain its stranglehold on nations and industries alike.  Likewise, only through the relentless manipulation of the various financial markets are they able to present the appearance of order and ‘fair play’.  The stark reality, however, which exists just behind the curtain, reveals an entirely different state of affairs than the one presented on the nightly news broadcasts.

The unrelenting fluctuations in the marketplace, which now occur daily with increasing frequency and on a greater scale, are graphic manifestations of the inordinate pressures and myriad stresses operating 24/7.  Many of the national economies who got clobbered in 2008 saw the writing on the wall, but were powerless to control the outcomes.  Russia, China, India, Brazil, and others suffered at the hands of massive macroeconomic forces which were manipulated to protect the countries that make up the Anglo-American Axis.

As history is getting ready to repeat itself , these same nations are not only taking the necessary measures to protect themselves from the upcoming economic armageddon and financial apocalypse, they are changing the very playing field itself.  By reengineering their respective markets, the marketplace is being changed to a much more favorable place in which to conduct their business.  Most of this re-design has occurred as a result of the very BAD moves made by the US, EU, NATO, FED, ECB, IMF and World Bank.

The extremely misguided moves throughout the global geopolitical chessboard by the AAA have particularly highlighted the necessity to create a new game.  The BRICS nations have done just that with great care and deliberation.  Their very patient and incremental approach has proven to work thus far.  As the Western nations make one bad move after another, the Eastern nations are able to capitalize on their inevitable mistakes at every turn.

Those nations from the East which have seen their gold markets manipulated through impositions from the West will be the first to throw off the yoke of Anglo-American imperialism.  Each of them has been waiting for decades to take back their economies, financial systems and governments from their Western absentee overloads.  Although each of them has appeared to gain their independence on the surface, the tentacles of domination and oppression lay deep in the institutional arrangements which have operated for so long under the strict management of the Anglo-American Axis.

However, the costs of staying with what was once expedient for the BRICS nations has now greatly exceeded the benefits which are diminishing by the day.  NSA spying, CIA intrigues and intrusions, IMF demands, EU instability, USA hypocrisy, NATO war-mongering, World Bank interference, have all conspired to make the global marketplace not only severely titled to favor the AAA; they are making it unbearable to for the rest of the world.  Insufferable is how many AAA non-aligned national leaders have quietly referred to the current international predicament.

untitled-1

The Ukraine is now ground zero for the implosion of predatory capitalism.

There is no place on the planet which better illustrates the current planetary predicament like the Ukraine.  The explosive atmosphere throughout the Ukraine dramatically portrays just how serious the stakes are for both sides of this war between East and West.  No matter what you see or don’t see in the daily news cycle, the tensions which have gathered there are as historic as they are epic.  Add to the pre-existing crucible of animosities and injustices the inordinate determination of the AAA to maintain at least the appearance of world domination.

Herein lies the real crux of the matter.  Red lines have now been drawn by the East which will no longer be transgressed.  Both Russia and China know that there is far too much at stake to allow the AAA to trample on yet another sovereign nation.  Their list of recent conquests is as long as it is morally bankrupt.  Iraq and Iran, Libya and Syria, Afghanistan and Pakistan, Yemen and Tunisia, Sudan and Chad are just a few of those countries which have suffered from AAA warmongering.  At some point this pattern of “might makes right” must be stopped once and for all.  That defining moment appears to be the Ukraine.

If ever there was a geopolitical predicament that possesses all of the right elements for the global bully (aka the Anglo-American Axis) to have the shit kicked out of him, it is the Ukraine. This is the land of the Babushka, the Balaclava, and Beet Borscht. While none of those things may mean very much to those reading this essay, each carries great meaning in this civil war.

The Babushka is not to be messed with as they are the matriachs of the Ukrainian family. Mess with their families and you bring the wrath of God upon you — literally!

The Balaclava is the mask worn by many of those who have rebelled against the coup leaders in Kiev. Ironically, these masks were first known to be used during Crimean War of 1854 by the British troops fighting there. Not only do they keep the head warm, they also conveniently keep hidden the identity of those who now courageously defy the puppet, fascist government in Kiev that was put into power with 5 billion US dollars provided by the US Department of State.

As for Beet Borscht, anyone who understands the power that this food confers upon the nation who eats it regularly, they would also understand that you don’t want to tangle with that populace. The Ukrainians are an extremely robust and strong people. They have unusual perseverance and single-mindedness. Provoking a war between the eastern and western halves of the nation will produce a situation that is as explosive as it is interminable. Mutually assured destruction is all that will result from such a conflict, where EVERYONE loses.
(Source: The WAR for the Ukraine: What’s the real story?)

Unfortunately the Western powers who started this revolution had no idea what they were doing.  Yes, they obviously wanted to restart the Cold War for so many political reasons and economic purposes, but did they really think they would lose Crimea without so much as a rifle shot?  These same AAA provocateurs have even less understanding, and will, to stop this ongoing revolution.  The CIA planners at Langley appear to be clueless about the seriousness of the battlefield on which they are now playing.  With Russia breathing down the neck of their Ukrainian counterparts in Kiev, watching every move that the US-EU conspirators are making, it may take a miracle to prevent this powder keg from blowing up.

Because of the many forces at work in the Ukraine, especially financial and economic, each side is looking to gain ascendancy in that extremely valuable geopolitical region. Furthermore, it appears that the very future of Anglo-American capitalism may be on the line.  The desperate moves on the part of Washington and London get more extreme by the day.  So extreme that their many mistakes in judgement will likely bring about their downfall.  Particularly because the AAA has everything to lose, and very little to gain, does this conflict seem to be a zero sum proposition for them.

War has often been the primary change agent in the world of men.

Both nations — Great Britain and the United States of America — have performed their roles accordingly.  War, in fact, has often been used by the Universe itself to effectuate changes which could not be made in any other way.  Horrible though it may be to live through, sometimes major wars are the only way to get certain thing done.  Witness the awesome changes which occurred in the wake of both World War I and World War II.

Even the cataclysmic Napoleonic Wars were quite instrumental in rearranging the geopolitical chessboard of Europe at the end of the 19th century.  The collapse of monarchies all over Europe would not have occurred in any other way.  Corrupt monarchies were meant to be a thing of the past as implied by the French slogan: Liberty, Equality, Fraternity.  Of course, two ‘monarchies’ gained considerably at the expense of the dissolution of the Old World Order — the British Crown and the American Dynasty.

Both the USA and UK were destined to function as the world’s policeman and globalist engineer, respectively.  Whereas the sun never set on the British Empire, that empire and its many interests are now very much protected by Pax Americana.  They have always (since the War of 1812) coexisted as the Anglo-American Axis in order that one would always support and protect the other.  Their English-speaking common ground only ensured that such an alliance would hold up when many others would come apart.  English is, of course, the language of commerce and finance, business and economics across the planet.

Since the founding of the first corporation — the East India Company — in 1600 in London, England, the very foundation and framework of today’s corporatocracy has been painstakingly put into place.  The rubric of the corporation was central to the globalization of the marketplace, which was soon to occur across the entire planet.  As such, Corporate Capitalism and its corrupt cronyism, were intended to be the primary features by which it would operate worldwide.  Overlaying this political economy on the existing British Empire proved to be a natural fit, especially with English being the chosen language for business contracts.

Just consider the manner in which American and British companies, products, brands and corporate logos appear everywhere around the globe as though they are given special access to markets which others are deprived of.  Besides Smirnoff, what other Russian brands does one see in the West.  Ditto that for virtually any other nation except the US and UK.  Truly, these two nations set up the global marketplace so that they would always be able to buy low and sell high, while everyone else was forced to buy high and sell low.

Russia’s confrontation with the USA/EU in the Ukraine Puts Predatory Capitalism on Notice

It is quite telling that an American, Edgar Cayce, one prophesied that Russia would serve as the hope of the world.  Who would have ever imagined that an ex-Communist nation would serve in the capacity that it is now?  Standing up to the US-UK-EU juggernaut is not for the fainthearted, and is perhaps the greatest challenge on Earth, bar none.  And yet here is Russia responding to Washington’s typical gunboat diplomacy as though the US Department of State is showing up in a dinghy.

“In Russia there comes the hope of the world, not as that sometimes termed of the communistic, or Bolshevik, no; but freedom, freedom! That each man will live for his fellow man! The principle has been born. It will take years for it to be crystallised, but out of Russia comes again the hope of the world.”
(SOURCE: Edgar Cayce, 1944, No. 3976-29)

There is now every indication that Kiev may very well end up being Waterloo for the Anglo-American Axis. The violent and transparent overthrow of a democratically elected government by the CIA and Company is now common knowledge wherever this is internet connection.  So is the ill-advised US $5,000,000,000 investment in a regime change that was destined to fail. Certainly the American people are not happy that so much money was spent on such a destructive foreign enterprise, especially when the US economy is in such tatters. The decision-makers in DC have never made so many catastrophic decisions — both foreign and domestic — over such a short period of time.

As the rest of the world watches this disaster-in-the-making in the Ukraine with baited breath, there are those initiated in the highest echelon of geopolitical chess, who fully understand that the AAA can only lose this game. As they make one very bad move after another, the community of nations rightly observes that the US-UK has lost all moral ascendancy. After committing a litany of serious offenses against so many other nations, particularly since 9/11, such unlawful and aggressive behavior will no longer be tolerated.

The world has shrunk significantly with the integration of the internet throughout nations and societies everywhere. Therefore, the relentless news of AAA transgressions are now known in real time no matter where they occur. The average person — regardless of what continent they live on — is now more and more inclined to vote with their pocket book, since they are unable to participate in US elections. As they perform this critical civic duty with greater deliberation, the day is not far off that the Anglo-American corporations of yesteryear are but shells of their former success and glory.  Just as the South African apartheid regime was brought down by way of economic blockade, so to will Israel’s.  Next up are the global bullies like the US and UK, unless they quickly get their acts together.

As the world reserve currency is reevaluated, so too will the US petrodollar be swept into the the ash bin of history, never to receive the adulation once afforded to the Almighty Dollar. The entire model of predatory capitalism will them be consigned to the history books, just as the business entity known as the CORPORATION of predatory capitalism will be laid bare for the damage it has wrought throughout the world. The very bad actor known as Corrupt Crony Capitalism will then take its last bow, as the corporatocracy created by the Industrial Revolution becomes a thing of the past.

With the slow-motion collapse of the West comes the rise of the East.

One side of any conflict almost alway gains at the expense of the other, whether by human design or divine ordination.  It is no less the case in the ongoing and epic clash between East and West.  Every time the West loses something, somewhere, the East will pick up something accordingly on this self-regulating geopolitical chessboard.  However, in this inexorable movement of power and wealth from the West to the East, a much more profound and fundamental metamorphosis is taking place under the radar.

The secular materialism that has predominated throughout the Western powers for quite some time is giving way to a different philosophical mindset and spiritual pursuit which can only be found in the East.  Their vast spiritual wealth is meant to be shared with the world in a manner heretofore unseen.  The many different Eastern spirituality movements in the US (and elsewhere throughout Western civilization) of the 1960s and ’70s have clearly set the stage for this transition to take place in a rather seamless way.

Truly, the world is in dire need of the global transformation which will take place when the West meets the East on a completely level playing field.  Only in this way will each civilization be able to offer and receive the best from each other.  As the East rises economically, politically and militarily, it’s influence will be felt in every sphere of life.  Particularly in the realm of spiritual science will that influence be deeply felt.  India, China, and Russia have much to offer what the West is in great need of at this critical point of societal decay.

Perhaps the locus of power is now shifting with such purpose and inevitability because of what the future holds in store for all of humankind.  Clearly, the world is at a pivotal point of planetary change and human evolution.  The signs and omens are all around us 24/7 beseeching us to get into the newly emerging flow … or else.  Only through an egalitarian and respectful marriage between the best of what the East and West has to offer can the planetary civilization successfully negotiate the path ahead.

Conclusion:

The evolutionary dynamic of the major political economies of the world delineated herein has been in progress for many decades.  The truth be told, the dissolution of predatory capitalism began the very day it manifested.  Because every deeply flawed economic and financial model contains the seeds of its own destruction, it is only a matter of time before it produces the poisonous fruits that will ensure its demise.  The entire planetary landscape is fraught with examples of predatory capitalism gone awry.  When such is the case, it is only a matter of time before the whole enterprise self destructs.  How can it not?

Which is precisely why there is now a crescendo of activity attempting to hide the many cracks in the facade.  Those cracks are merging and deepening and extending outward in every direction to the point where the edifice of corrupt crony capitalism will simply collapse under the weight of it own untenable maintenance.  Just as Soviet communism collapse in a day, so too will Anglo-American capitalism.  The foundational texts of Adam Smith and ‘scriptural authority’ of John Maynard Keynes have been completely debunked for the farcical teachings that they present.  So have all the other modern-day economists who spin their webs of illusion hoping one day to compete with David Copperfield.

In light of these profound unfolding developments, it can be stated that the locus of power and wealth will continue to move westward toward the East. In general, the cultures of the East are well known to be more contemplative and therefore more prescient.  Their societies are also more deliberative and provident.  Unlike the constant squandering of time, energy and wealth in the pursuit of instant gratification throughout the West, the Asian temperament is significantly more forward-thinking and prudential.  Which is why the people of China and India continue to buy gold in vast quantities as a store of wealth.

When the current economic and financial paradigm crashes and burns, as it surely will, even the average householder in the East will possess more wealth than typical middle class American.  Because the interest rates for saving accounts has been so low for so many years, the citizens of the Western nations have not been putting aside much for that rainy day.  Nor has the ongoing economic depression encouraged savings.

At the end of the day the shift of power and wealth to the East will occur at the grassroots level, as much as it will take place in the upper echelons of national governments, corporate boardrooms and global think tanks.   Russia, China and India, along with many other aligned nations, have been silently building the foundation on which to construct  new financial architecture and economic systems.  New institutional arrangements, trade relationship resets and recent changes in inter-governmental dynamic have already begun in earnest.

In anticipation of the rapid demise of AAA predatory capitalism, working models, which will replace the structures and systems established by the Bretton Woods Agreement, have been put into place at the regional level and are operating in a beta mode.  In this way those nations which have unhitched their wagon from the AAA wagon train (aka the Anglo-American Juggernaut) will not go over the real fiscal cliff on the horizon.  As the West inexorably approaches that cliff, both the US and UK will lose their influence over world affairs and power to wage war at will, wars which are always incited and paid for with the once Almighty Dollar.

Author’s Note:

Western Civilization is famous for discounting the true historical achievements, cultural influences and scientific accomplishments of the East.  In fact many of the advancements, which have occurred in Western societies over millennia, find their roots in Eastern thought and philosophy, discovery and invention.   Particularly ignored are the rich and profound religious movements and spiritual traditions of India and China, most of which predate their western counterparts.  Therein (Asia) lies the true source of each primordial impetus and foundational catalyst for all of the major shifts in both consciousness and civilization throughout world history.  Meaningful planetary transformation has always started in the East during the current 60,000 year epoch, just as the evolution of the human spirit has begun there.

Astute students of world history understand that there are definite evolutionary patterns and geographic progressions which take place over the long arc of history.  For example, in the development of the great religions of the world the appearance of spiritual leaders often occurred first in the East.  Then, after centuries of ‘incubation’ new religions were born in those nations, before eventually taking root in societies throughout the Middle East.  Throughout antiquity, some of these same religions were ultimately embraced by European and Western Asian cultures as well, usually in a somewhat diluted form.  In almost every instance the major religions either ‘migrated’ from the East to the West, as was often the case during the pre-Christian era, or whole new religions grew out of them forever introducing the rudiments possessing unequivocal Eastern influences.

The most compelling example of this dynamic can be traced to the extraordinary similarities between Buddhism and Christianity.  The seminal days of Buddhism occurred during the life of Gautama Buddha[1] in the later half of the 6th century, B.C.  To a great extent, Buddhism served as a countervailing force to the corruption of the existing religious practice found throughout India and neighboring countries.  Such were the threats to both the social order and natural law that divine intervention became absolutely necessary.  And so it came in the form of the Buddha.

In fact, much of Buddhist philosophy concerns itself with the proper understanding of and living according to a strict moral code.  The Buddhist Dhamma[2] is simply that which supports “cosmic law and order”.  Because the Hindu adherence to Dharma[3] became so compromised with widespread ritual malpractice among the Brahminic class, a spiritual catharsis and religious revival were as urgently needed as they were inevitable.  Hence, the appearance of the Buddha occurred at a defining moment of history to literally save the civilization from itself, thereby protecting the universal order.

Only in this way could a more peaceful and prosperous society be established so that a more hospitable environment would be cultivated in order for the individual soul to advance on his or her spiritual journey.  The Buddha himself was a product of strict adherence to a life of righteousness (also known as dhamma or dharma).  His was a sermon well received by the people of those ancient Asian communities where he traveled and taught the The Noble Eightfold Path and The Four Noble Truths.  THE SERMON AT BENARES is just one example of the code of ethics and litany of admonitions that the Buddha disseminated far and wide.

Just over five hundred years later, another spiritual giant walked the land in the Middle East.  His message was strikingly similar to the Buddha’s.  In fact Jesus the Christ had studied at the Tibetan Buddhist monastery of the Drukpa Lineage, located in Hemis, Ladakh (within the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir).  It was there that the young Jesus learned the Buddhist philosophy and imbibed the Eastern spiritual wisdom that he would later teach during his public ministry.  In this way the most basic tenets of Buddhism were promulgated in a westward fashion, like “the rising and setting of the sun”.

Because Christianity has such deep roots in the very same moral code taught by the Buddha, and preaches compassion and love for one’s fellow man as He did, some have wondered if the Christ was really a practicing Buddhist.  Many in the East consider Saint Issa, as Jesus was known throughout the Orient, to be a divine being who attained spiritual enlightenment after years of disciplined yogic practice in India.  As a result of His final Self-realization, great healing powers were conferred upon him which were displayed in the outworking of his spiritual mission in Judea.

On a different note, Westerners have frequently heard about the many highly significant inventions and discoveries which actually occurred in the East, not the West as some history books would lead one to believe.  Some of the most influential developments having to do with war were the use of horses in military combat, as well as the invention of gunpowder by the Chinese.  Because war has historically proven to be the most fast-acting and potent change agent, particularly in regard to the transfer of culture across national boundaries, these and other advancements in the martial arts of the East were ultimately parlayed by the West into the establishment of one empire after another.

The Roman Empire of the Caesars and British Empire of the Crown offer two vivid illustrations of the most obvious examples of where seeds which sprouted in the East took very deep root in the West.  The fruit from those trees continue to fall all over the Earth today.  Whether in the form of the Judeo-Christian-Islamic religious traditions, or in the art and science of modern-day warfare copied from Genghis Khan and his grandson Kublai Khan, the knowledge and wisdom of the East can be found throughout every sphere of life in Western Civilization and/or Christendom.

Endnote:

[1] The Buddha is well known in Hinduism to be the ninth major incarnation of Lord Vishnu, the great deity of the Hindu Trinity.  In His lifetime as the Buddha, it is said that Lord Vishnu came to Earth with the very unique purpose to subvert and check the corrupt priestly class known as the Brahmins.  Because they were using their powers over the people in such an oppressive fashion and destructive manner, divine intervention became necessary.
In the personhood of the Buddha, He was able to divert the Brahminic class so as to sufficiently diminish the misuse of their spiritual knowledge and occult powers.  By focusing their attention on a very simple moral code, which was quite needed for the many disparate warring kingdoms, the Buddha saw to it that the abuse of sacred rites and rituals was arrested.  In this manner, His public ministry was very much a double-edged sword cutting through the rigid and hollow Brahminic dogma, while at the same time holding up an urgent moral code for a civilization marked by wars and rife with conflicts.
Over the successive centuries, India — a fundamentally Hindu nation — was spared much war and bloodshed because of the over-riding influence that Buddhism exerted over the leaders and therefore peoples of its bordering nations.  Because of how strongly compassion, non-violence and inner peace were promulgated by Buddhism, even the notorious warrior-king — Indian Emperor Ashoka — became known for his eventual renunciation of war, and denunciation of violence.
The vast majority of the world’s practitioners of Buddhism do not live in India; rather, they reside in the many countries surrounding India, thus a divinely ordained buffer of protection lay between India and the rest of the world for many centuries.  Because of this, Hinduism was able to flourish within her borders … until the Mughal invasions of the 12th through the 16th centuries.  While those Muslim conquests served to effectuate the greatest transfer of culture in Indian history, they were received by the people of Hindustan in a manner which was significantly tempered by the principles of non-violence and detachment inculcated by the preceding centuries of Buddhist influence.

It is said that the divine mission of a true Avatar can never be thwarted, no matter how formidable the earthly adversaries or prodigious the forces arrayed against him from other realms.  And so it was during the lifetime of the Buddha … … … as it was for the contemporary Vishnu Avatar — Lord Kalki — the final and greatest incarnation of Lord Vishnu during the Kali Yuga.
