The Bern Hasn’t Got Clue About What He’s Really Up Against

State of the Nation

SOTN Editor’s Note:
It ought to be obvious by now that Donald Trump does not even consider Hillary Clinton the presumptive Democratic nominee.  He doesn’t even think that she’ll be a nominee in this election cycle.  And he’s dead on.

The former Secretary of State has got so much baggage that she is clearly weighed down BIG time between now and the convention.  Clinton not only has her own baggage, by the way, she’s also carrying all of Bill’s, and we don’t mean the ever-disastrous NAFTA.  She is carrying what every political leader in modern history is quite fearful of: accusations of sexual assault as in R A P E!  It’s also known as the rape card to Trump campaign.

Rape! Trump Drops ‘R’ Word Bomb On Clintons.

The Donald has already pulled that card out of his hand and so he is not at all afraid to use it.  He also knows that both Hillary and Bill have pulled out all the stops with the Mainstream Media and that they will use the MSM to dig up as much dirt — real or otherwise — that they can conjure up on Trump.  The recent New York Times hit piece(s) is just one example of the ultra-liberal media bias being used by the Clintons to the max. These MSM attacks dogs have no conscience whatsoever and only respond to the smell of blood in the conduct of their extremely yellow journalism.

Trump, they seem to forget, is only emboldened by this type of reckless abuse of the press. He really does detest that the Clintonistas continuously act with such impunity.  Hence, the rape card against Bill will be pulled out whenever necessary, if only to push back on the MSM juggernaut that the Clintons have unleashed on Trump.

No matter what does or does not happen, it is going to get VERY ugly, unless Clinton withdraws her candidacy.  Nothing else even makes sense for her but to concede her loss—NOW.  Winning the presidency will not prevent her from being indicted, nor keep her out of prison if that’s where she is heading. The sooner she takes responsibility for so much criminal activity, the sooner she can get on with her sentence.

Now over to Trump’s “Bern strategy”.  By suggesting a debate with The Bern, Trump has completely marginalized Clinton.  She really has no business being in the same room with him so vulnerable is she on so many serious issues.  Bernie is also very weak and fundamentally fearful.  He wouldn’t even go after Clinton when she gave him every possible opportunity and very good reason to do so.

Trump is a hardcore businessman; he can smell fear a thousand miles away because the “art of the deal” hinges on that particular skill.  He also has what every successful businessman has to some degree in super-competitive marketplaces–walk-way power. Clinton lacks walk-away power as she has been order to proceed with her candidacy.

Sanders wants to be president so bad he would run campaign from a casket after he’s long gone if he thinks there’s still a chance of occupying the Oval Office.  Diehard communists fantasize about turning the Obamanation into Amerika and the future USSA.  For Bernie this election represents the fulfillment of a lifelong dream.  For this reason Sanders is merely a plaything for Trump to play with anytime he wants to.

Which is exactly why The Donald can’t wait to debate him … anytime, anywhere The Bern wants to.  You know that the Trumpsters and the Berniacs will show up in force — maybe even duke it out bit before their man enters the ring.

As for Clinton, she’s toast no matter what she does or doesn’t do!

N.B  The following article well sums up why this move by Trump may just be Clinton’s coup de grâce.

Trump’s Decision To Debate Sanders In California Is His Most Genius Move Yet

by Mike Krieger
Liberty Blitzkrieg

Here, a Clinton match-up is highly likely to be an unmitigated electoral disaster, whereas a Sanders candidacy stands a far better chance. Every one of Clinton’s (considerable) weaknesses plays to every one of Trump’s strengths, whereas every one of Trump’s (few) weaknesses plays to every one of Sanders’s strengths. From a purely pragmatic standpoint, running Clinton against Trump is a disastrous, suicidal proposition.

– From the February article: Why Hillary Clinton Cannot Beat Donald Trump

If the Trump/Sanders debate proceeds as planned in California, you’re about to witness one of the most important moments of a 2016 general election that hasn’t even begun yet. To say such a debate would be an unmitigated disaster for Hillary Clinton would be the understatement of the century. Let’s explore why.

First of all, Hillary Clinton outright rejected a debate request from Bernie Sanders ahead of the June 7th California primary. Given Sanders’ recent momentum, as well as her need to persuade a significant number of his supporters to back her in November; such a denial was not only arrogant, it was highly insulting to voters in America’s largest state. From team Clinton’s perspective there was little upside to agreeing to a debate, versus easily manageable downside from a few days of negative media coverage.

Or so they thought…

The above strategic thought process would’ve worked in almost every other election season and against any other candidate. Unfortunately for her, it doesn’t work in 2016, and it certainly doesn’t work against Donald Trump.

Trump understands human nature as well as anyone I’ve ever observed. He’s also likely the most skilled natural politician of my lifetime, with perhaps the exception of Bill Clinton in his prime. Under conventional thinking, Trump would also certainly deny a Sanders debate request for the same reasons Clinton declined it. There’s little to gain in publicly battling a guy with nothing to lose, and you’ve already wrapped up the Republican nomination anyway. That said, Trump is far too savvy to fall victim to such straightforward thinking. He understands that debating Sanders in California ahead of the primary presents a once in a lifetime opportunity to embarrass and belittle Clinton in front of the whole world before the general election even begins.

Think about it for a second. Who cares what happens during the debate itself. Think about what the media will be saying. Think about how weak, irrelevant and stupid a Trump/Sanders contest will make Hillary Clinton look. As the largest state in the union heads to the voting booths Hillary Clinton can’t be bothered to have a discussion with Bernie Sanders, yet Donald Trump is more than willing. I can see the headlines already:

 Hillary MIA in California?

Where in the World is Hillary?

Hillary Nowhere to be Found in California Primary.

You get the point. Trump will appear Presidential, while Hillary will look like a discredited Goldman Sachs crook hiding from a 74-year-old socialist. Which, by the way, is exactly what she’s doing.

Naturally, the whining hordes of Clinton sycophants and paid online trolls who don’t think they should have to work to secure the Presidency, will bitch and moan at Sanders. They’ll blame him for all her problems, when the truth is this disaster, like most of her disasters, is entirely of her own making. Hillary Clinton was offered the opportunity to debate Sanders in California. She declined. You can’t blame Trump for jumping on the opportunity to make her look extraordinarily stupid. That’s just politics.
