Sen. Graham: Red State Democrats Are ‘Toast’ If They Vote ‘No’ on Kavanaugh
Says all types of Republicans ‘united’ for Kavanaugh.
Sen. Lindsey Graham joined Sean Hannity to weigh in on the political implications of the Brett Kavanaugh controversy, warning red state Senate Democrats up for re-election in November that they’re “toast” if they vote “no” on the Supreme Court nominee.
Graham (R-S.C.) said Democrats are attempting to “destroy” Kavanaugh over uncorroborated allegations of sexual assault, and confirming him to the Supreme Court is the only “just solution.”
“This is unfair. What they’re doing to this good, decent man cannot stand,” Graham said.
He said the pressure will be on Democrats in predominantly red states that Trump won in 2016, such as Sens. Joe Manchin of West Virginia and Heidi Heitkamp of North Dakota.
