The old leaders like the Clinton\u2019s & Obama\u2019s flying to every last corner (literally) of the planet to try and round up any scraps of support they can garner, openly, shamelessly begging for handshakes and a few shekels.<\/p>\n
The old brass like Brennan and Comey -alternating between trying to get ahead of the story through sympathy and making overt public threats.<\/p>\n
The old influence peddlers like the Podesta\u2019s closing shop, paralyzed yet poisonous, waiting for any opportunity to take a stab at any sort of viable defensive position.<\/p>\n
The old press like CNN & NY Times spinning-spinning-spinning, regardless of their lost viewers and ad revenue.<\/p>\n
Anything, literally anything<\/em> is on the table just to stay alive at this point, to keep a dog in the race, knowing they\u2019ve already flogged the dog to death, but desperately needing<\/em> to keep it running.<\/p>\n What gives? Because this is not the way rational people act.<\/p>\n Q says they\u2019re stupid.<\/p>\n I agree, but I think they\u2019re acting so stupidly because their bills are coming due, and they are desperately seeking any possible means of paying this \u201cballoon payment\u201d to their masters.<\/p>\n It was always a bad loan, but they thought they\u2019d rigged the system. He\u2019d be the first black president, and she\u2019d be the first female. It was a super-easy agreement to make, the ultimate \u201cinsurance policy\u201d to to indemnify them against any incontinuity.<\/p>\n It had to be seamless. It was totally seamless. Until it wasn\u2019t.<\/p>\n It\u2019s not that they won\u2019t stop; it\u2019s that they can\u2019t stop.<\/strong> In every sense of the word – they literally, figuratively and demonstratively<\/em> CAN NOT stop, because if they stop, they\u2019re obligated to pay this debt.<\/p>\n They never thought she\u2019d lose.<\/p>\n
