Last week\u2019s visit to California by Attorney General Jeff Sessions showed\u00a0just how extreme California\u2019s leadership has become.\u00a0For the elected officials of California who may have forgotten, the\u00a0U.S. AG<\/a>\u00a0heads the United States Department of Justice and is the chief lawyer for the United States government. It\u2019s kind of a big deal\u200a – rather an important position. Perhaps the holder of said position has earned a modicum of respect.<\/p>\n But that doesn\u2019t really matter to California\u2019s extremist legislators and government officials.\u00a0Starting with\u00a0Gov. Jerry Brown<\/a>\u00a0and on to Calif.\u00a0Senate President Pro Tempore Kevin de Leon<\/a>,\u00a0Attorney General Xavier Becerra<\/a>,\u00a0Representative Maxine Waters<\/a>,\u00a0Representative Adam Schiff<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Representative Nancy Pelosi,<\/a>\u00a0among others, as evidenced by their words, they believe that all who don\u2019t hold their extreme views, which include subverting rule of law, are fair game for any verbal character assassination and abuse<\/em>.<\/p>\n Note\u00a0Gov. Brown\u2019s tantrum<\/a>\u00a0thrown against Sessions when he was here in California.\u00a0The Trump administration is \u201cfull of liars\u201d and is \u201cgoing to war against the state of California,\u201d\u00a0Brown said.<\/p>\n Brown then accused Sessions of engaging in a \u201cpolitical stunt\u201d and making \u201cwild accusations\u201d before he attacked Sessions for being from the South\u200a\u00a0– \u200aAlabama, no less! Oh, the horror!<\/p>\n Brown fell short of calling for a lynching of the old white guy.<\/p>\n In the delirium and delusion of extremism, Brown understandably is confused as to who is going to war against whom.\u00a0What caused him to unleash his attack? Sessions speaking the truth.<\/p>\n As AG, Sessions and the Department of Justice\u00a0have taken legal action<\/a>\u00a0against the state of California in a lawsuit which\u00a0alleges that California has violated the U.S. Constitution\u00a0by passing three state statutes which \u201cobstruct or otherwise conflict with, or discriminate against, federal immigration enforcement laws.\u201d<\/p>\n It\u2019s certainly overdue, but finally there\u2019s a line in the sand drawn against California\u2019s defiance.\u00a0As has been widely reported and discussed, California has for years worked to blur the distinction in the state between American citizens and those living and working here illegally.<\/p>\n This continual blurring in California has led to granting illegal aliens driver\u2019s licenses, creating taxpayer-funded programs for illegal aliens to fight deportation and permitting illegal aliens to practice law, along with many other benefits,\u00a0as more and more California cities began identifying themselves as sanctuary cities for illegal aliens. And, finally the entire state declared itself a\u00a0sanctuary state<\/a>. source: michaelpramirez.com<\/em><\/a><\/p>\n The mass importation of people, and often poverty, has helped create a state that no longer can claim the \u201cGolden\u201d title.\u00a0As I\u00a0wrote last week<\/a>, today\u2019s California is no longer the Golden State and land of plenty, except for the privileged few.<\/p>\n Calling the state out on its infractions is well overdue.\u00a0Many Californians will thank AG Sessions for taking California to task for its sanctuary laws as\u00a0radical maneuvers<\/a>\u00a0that\u00a0threaten public safety and open the country to even more illegal immigration.<\/em><\/u><\/p>\n<\/a><\/a><\/p>\n
