The police took his gun without a warrant and without pressing any charges.\u00a0 Tyranny has officially taken hold on American soil.<\/p>\n<p>This sets a precedent that government can now forcefully take guns away from an individual without a crime being committed or an arrest being made and without a warrant. In the name of fear and political exploitation of anti-gun rhetoric, a citizen\u2019s Second Amendment rights have been ripped away from him by the government.<\/p>\n<p>The new \u201cred flag\u201d law, which has taken hold in other states already, allows the courts and law enforcement to take away guns from individuals\u00a0<em>they<\/em>\u00a0deem are dangerous and they\u2019ve just begun the confiscation.\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/davidharrisjr.com\/politics\/tyranny-begins-seattle-man-broke-no-laws-guns-confiscated\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">A man living in the\u00a0Belltown\u00a0neighborhood of\u00a0Seattle,\u00a0Washington\u00a0became the first individual<\/a>\u00a0in the state to have his firearm confiscated without any formal arrest or charges.\u00a0 The man was not identified by authorities.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/conservativedailypost.com\/seattle-police-confiscate-first-firearm-under-new-mental-health-law\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Neighbors complained that the man had been \u201cstaring<\/a>\u201d at people through storefront windows while wearing a holstered firearm. He was not brandishing his weapon by any account, and open carrying is legal in the area, so he was abiding by the law.\u00a0<strong>Other residents also complained that the man\u2019s open carrying made them feel \u201cuncomfortable\u201d and \u201cunsafe.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe was roaming the hallways with a .25 caliber automatic,\u201d said Tony Montana, a man who lives in the same apartment complex as the gun owner and a person without any reasonable gun knowledge.\u00a0 Handguns are semi-automatic.<\/p>\n<p>These lousy complaints from neighbors allowed police to use the newly passed state law to confiscate the man\u2019s firearm because the man apparently stared at others.\u00a0 Maybe there\u2019s a ban on staring at others in Washington we are unaware of.
