Former CIA Director John Brennan is not shy of the limelight… and certainly not afraid to share.<\/p>\n
In July of last year,\u00a0<\/a>the former CIA Director effectively called for a coup if Trump fired Mueller:<\/p>\n “I think it’s the obligation of some executive branch officials to refuse to carry that out.\u00a0<\/strong>I would just hope that this is not going to be a partisan issue. That Republicans, Democrats are going to see that the future of this government is at stake and something needs to be done for the good of the future,” Brennan\u00a0told CNN’s Wolf Blitzer at the Aspen Security Forum.<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n And then in February,<\/a>\u00a0Brennan had harsh words for House Intelligence Chairman Devin Nunes, calling the controversial four-page\u00a0“FISA memo” created by Nunes’ staffers “exceptionally partisan<\/strong>” adding that Nunes has “abused the office<\/strong>” by refusing to allow Democrats on his committee to make their own rebuttal document public.<\/p>\n And now,\u00a0seemingly in response to Trump’s accusations (in a tweet this morning)<\/a>\u00a0about Obama and The FBI’s “worse than Watergate” actions during the 2016 campaign, Brennan once again raged:<\/p>\n “This tweet is a great example of your paranoia,\u00a0<\/strong>constant misrepresentation of the facts, and increased anxiety and panic (rightly so) about the Mueller investigation. “<\/p><\/blockquote>\n Adding that:<\/p>\n “When will those in Congress and the 30 percent of Americans who still support you realize you are a charlatan?”<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n This tweet is a great example of your paranoia, constant misrepresentation of the facts, and increased anxiety and panic (rightly so) about the Mueller investigation.
