John Ratcliffe (R-TX) who has reviewed the texts.<\/p>\n<p>http:\/\/twitter.com\/RepRatcliffe\/status\/955599629206335488?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw&#038;ref_url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.zerohedge.com%2Fnews%2F2018-01-22%2Ffbi-agents-discussed-secret-society-within-doj-and-fbi-working-undermine-trump<\/p>\n<p>The new texts were included in a 384-page\u00a0DOJ document release to Congressional investigators last Friday\u00a0&#8211; during which Congress was notified in the cover letter that\u00a0that\u00a0<strong>five months of text messages from December 14, 2016 to\u00a0May 17, 2017\u00a0<\/strong>have gone missing\u00a0(If only the NSA had copies).<\/p>\n<p>Ratcliffe was joined by Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-SC) to discuss the latest developments with\u00a0<em>Fox News<\/em>\u00a0host Martha McCallum, when Ratcliffe said:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong>What we learned today in the thousands of text messages that weve reviewed that perhaps they may not have done that (checked their bias at the door).<\/strong>There&#8217;s certainly a factual basis to question whether or not they acted on that bias. So yeah &#8212; I&#8217;m going to want to know<\/strong>.&#8221;<span style=\"font-style: italic;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>As we have been reporting over the last two days<\/strong>, the FBI &#8220;lost&#8221; five months of text messages between\u00a0anti-Trump FBI agents Peter Strzok and Lisa Page.<\/p>\n<p>The explanation for the gap was &#8220;<strong>misconfiguration issues related to rollouts, provisioning, and software upgrades that conflicted with the FBI&#8217;s collection capabilities.<\/strong>&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/stateofthenation2012.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/01\/letter-from-DOJ-to-ron-johnson_1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-93155\" src=\"https:\/\/stateofthenation2012.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/01\/letter-from-DOJ-to-ron-johnson_1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"175\" srcset=\"https:\/\/stateofthenation2012.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/01\/letter-from-DOJ-to-ron-johnson_1.jpg 500w, https:\/\/stateofthenation2012.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/01\/letter-from-DOJ-to-ron-johnson_1-300x105.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The missing texts conveniently span the period between Dec. 14, 2016 and May 17, 2017 &#8211;\u00a0<strong>the day Robert Mueller was appointed to take over the FBI&#8217;s probe of alleged Trump-Russia collusion<\/strong>, and\u00a0<strong>during the\u00a0period in which the FBI would ostensibly have been hard at work on their &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.zerohedge.com\/news\/2017-12-13\/we-cant-take-risk-fbi-texts-reveal-insurance-policy-prevent-trump-presidency\">insurance policy<\/a>&#8221;\u00a0<\/strong>against a Trump victory &#8211; and\u00a0<strong>during the period in which the &#8220;secret society&#8221; Rep.
