<\/a><\/p>\nLast February, following the Presidential inauguration of Donald Trump,\u00a0Moby<\/a>\u00a0posted on social media claiming to have\u00a0insider information<\/a>\u00a0on connections between the Trump administration and Russia. The producer\/DJ said that \u201cafter talking to friends in DC,\u201d he had allegedly learned that the\u00a0Fusion GPS dossier<\/a>\u00a0was \u201c100% real\u201d and that the Russian government was \u201cblackmailing\u201d the president. Now, in a new interview with\u00a0WFPK<\/a>\u00a0in Louisville, Kentucky, Moby has doubled down on his claims (as\u00a0CoS<\/a>\u00a0points out).<\/p>\n Talking with WFPK’s Kyle Meredith, Moby cited \u201cactive and former CIA agents\u201d who were \u201ctruly concerned\u201d about Trump\u2019s collusion with Russia. \u201cThey were like, \u2018This is the Manchurian Candidate, like [Putin] has a Russian agent as the President of the United States,\u2019\u201d he said. \u201cSo they passed on some information to me and they said, like, \u2018Look, you have more of a social media following than any of us do, can you please post some of these things just in a way that \u2026 sort of put it out there.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n He added, \u201cIt\u2019s really disturbing and it\u2019s going to get quite a lot darker. Like the depths of the Trump family in business and their involvement with organized crime, sponsored terrorism, Russian oligarchs, it\u2019s really dark. I guess we should all, like, fasten our seat belts and hold on.\u201d<\/p>\n Pitchfork has reached out to Moby\u2019s representatives for further comment.<\/p>\n
