<\/a>California lawyer Matthew Haberkorn<\/strong><\/p><\/div>\n Submitted by The Armchair Attorney<\/em><\/p>\n The following story is quite typical of how many lawyers operate, especially personal injury attorneys.<\/p>\n First an innocent restaurant patron was falsely accused of an anti-semitic slur by the wife.\u00a0 Then she was chased down the street by the husband (he was in the bathroom at the time) of the woman who misheard the slur that was never said<\/strong>.\u00a0 (He —\u00a0Matthew Haberkorn — also happens to be a personal injury lawyer.)<\/p>\n The mortified and falsely accused patron then attempts to remove herself — QUICKLY — from the restaurant, and particularly from the crazy family that went into a raging hysteria.<\/p>\n But the lawyer persists in his hot pursuit of the shell-shocked woman…right down the street.\u00a0 She then panics for the safety of her male friend and hits the lawyer on the head with her purse.<\/p>\n The rest of this Upper East Side drama that took place at the Caravaggio Ristorante is now all over the tabloids being misrepresented in every way possible by the lawyer husband (see for yourself in the video below) and his attorney.<\/p>\n Jacqueline Kent Cooke, the alleged assailant, appears to be perfectly innocent, except for smacking the guy upside the head with her purse because he was aggressively chasing the couple down the street for no good reason.<\/p>\n *CAVEAT:<\/strong> There’s no question that alcohol was to blame for perhaps every aspect of this Manhattan mayhem.\u00a0 From watching the video it appears that lawyer\u00a0Matthew Haberkorn had too much to drink, just as Ms. Cooke may have over-indulged given her body weight. Moral of the story:<\/strong> lawyers should be very careful about drinking in public places especially when they summarily mete out punishment after unilaterally handing down a sentence based upon a patently false verdict. Lawyers should know not to act a judge and jury, prosecutor and executioner, particularly when they skipped the trial.\u00a0 As for Ms. Cooke, she should never have left home with her “Lulu Guinness mirror perspex clutch”<\/em>, especially if she intended on drinking.\u00a0 Not only are those glass purses quite expensive, they’re hard as hell as\u00a0Matthew Haberkorn found out the hard way. Now read the article below to see how the mainstream media<\/em> has fabricated a narrative that grossly misrepresented the true story.\u00a0 Now just why does the MSM always get away with such truth-twisting shenanigans?\u00a0 On whose behalf, exactly, are they acting?\u00a0 Really, it’s very important to ask\u00a0“Cui bono?”\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>in this scenario, and in many others that are quite similar.\u00a0 The final outcome of any legal actions will certainly be quite telling.<\/p>\n By Emily Smith and Ian Mohr Jacqueline Kent Cooke – Robert Grima<\/p><\/div>\n Jacqueline Kent Cooke<\/a>\u00a0\u2014 the socialite daughter of former Redskins owner\u00a0Jack Kent Cooke<\/a>\u00a0who was arrested after\u00a0allegedly making an anti-Semitic slur at a Manhattan restaurant<\/a>\u00a0resulting in a sidewalk scuffle \u2014 insists she was misheard and is the victim.<\/p>\n Cooke, 29, was arrested and charged with assault after she got into a tussle with personal injury attorney Matthew Haberkorn, whom she then bashed on the head with her heavy perspex purse on New Year\u2019s Eve.<\/p>\n The incident kicked off in the line for the cloakroom at fancy Upper East Side restaurant Caravaggio after Cooke allegedly made an offensive comment to Haberkorn\u2019s mother: \u201cHurry up, you Jew.\u201d<\/p>\n But Cooke strongly denies uttering that comment. She told Page Six, \u201cWe had a really nice dinner and were rushing to go to a friend\u2019s apartment before the clock struck midnight. We were right behind Mr. Haberkorn\u2019s family in the line, but they were taking a really long time looking for their tickets, so I \u2014 ticket in hand \u2014 told his mother, \u2018Excuse me, I have to get through.\u2019 She clearly didn\u2019t hear what I said, and immediately screamed at the top of her lungs, \u2018She called me a Jew!\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n She says, \u201cI was mortified and I tried to calm things down by explaining, \u2018I didn\u2019t call anyone a Jew, I was just asking to get through.\u2019 But by this point, Mr. Haberkorn\u2019s wife and his daughters were yelling at me, and everyone in the restaurant was looking. I had no idea they were even Jewish.\u201d<\/p>\n She says she\u2019s been accused of being anti-Semitic, but \u201cI am not, my grandmother is Jewish, so I am 25 percent Jewish.
