The subject of the cable reads\u00a0&#8220;<strong>Wikileaks: The Pirate Party&#8217;s White Horse Into Sweden&#8217;s Parliament?<\/strong>&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>On\u00a0<strong>June 29, 2010\u00a0<\/strong>a US diplomat met with three members of the Pirate Party &#8211; which is described in the cable as a &#8220;mixture between communism and libertarianism,&#8221; yet whose members are &#8220;well-salaried professionals, independent\u00a0 from the party for income.&#8221; Two of the &#8220;pirates,&#8221; according to the report, were active in the\u00a0<strong>&#8220;youth branch of the conservative party currently leading government<\/strong>.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The Embassy cable notes the\u00a0&#8220;<strong>grim electoral outlook for Pirates<\/strong>&#8221; &#8211; as confirmed by a Pirate party member interviewed by the US diplomat,\u00a0<strong>&#8220;Unless WikiLeaks Saves the Day.&#8221;\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.zerohedge.com\/sites\/default\/files\/inline-images\/unless.PNG\" alt=\"un\" width=\"497\" height=\"74\" data-entity-type=\"file\" data-entity-uuid=\"051ac0c1-3c5c-4bed-a81b-977c540b6920\" \/><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Two weeks after the cable was sent, an arrest warrant was issued for WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange<\/strong>\u00a0on sexual assault allegations &#8211; which was dropped, then re-issued, then revoked again by Swedish authorities in August 2015 when they dropped their case against him.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.zerohedge.com\/sites\/default\/files\/inline-images\/cable1.PNG\" alt=\"sdf\" width=\"495\" height=\"390\" data-entity-type=\"file\" data-entity-uuid=\"4c38ca26-efb9-487a-88b3-daf1a80093e5\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Cable found on Anthony Weiner&#8217;s Laptop,\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.judicialwatch.org\/press-room\/press-releases\/judicial-watch-state-department-reveals-2800-huma-abedin-government-documents-weiners-laptop\/\">obtained via Judicial Watch FOIA lawsuit<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The emergence of this\u00a0<em>confidential<\/em>\u00a0document (<em>found on Anthony Weiner&#8217;s laptop and sent while his wife, Huma Abedin, was Secretary of State Hillary Clinton&#8217;s Deputy Chief of Staff<\/em>), is disturbing &#8211; as it potentially\u00a0<strong>implicates the Obama administration in a conspiracy to silence Julian Assange while Hillary Clinton was Secretary of State &#8211;\u00a0<\/strong>not to mention that it could be the\u00a0smoking gun in\u00a0<em><strong>yet another clear case of mishandled information<\/strong>\u00a0<\/em>found on imprisoned sexual deviant Anthony Weiner&#8217;s laptop\u00a0the FBI&#8217;s\u00a0<strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.zerohedge.com\/news\/2017-12-04\/anti-trump-fbi-agent-changed-assessment-hillary-email-scandal-extremely-careless-gro\">Peter Strzok<\/a>\u00a0and crew<\/strong>\u00a0must have somehow overlooked.<\/p>\n<p><strong>A brief timeline of events:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>On\u00a0<strong>August 20, 2010,\u00a0<\/strong>the Swedish Prosecutor&#8217;s Office\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/archive.is\/WeU50\">issued an arrest warrant<\/a>\u00a0for Julian Assange over a rape allegation\u00a0&#8211;\u00a0<strong>two weeks after the US Embassy met with the Pirate party and had concerns over Assange leaking US secrets<\/strong>. The net day, Swedish\u00a0cancelled the warrant.\u00a0\u00a0&#8220;I don&#8217;t think there is reason to suspect that he has committed rape,&#8221; says one of Stockholm&#8217;s chief prosecutors, Eva Finne. Swedish prosecutors did however continue to investigate a separate allegation of molestation, though they felt it was not a serious enough crime for an arrest warrant.<\/p>\n<p>On\u00a0<strong>September 1, 2010<\/strong><strong>,\u00a0<\/strong>Swedish Director of Prosecution, Marianne Ny,\u00a0<strong>reopened the rape investigation<\/strong>\u00a0against Assange.<\/p>\n<p>On\u00a0<strong>November 18, 2010,\u00a0<\/strong>Stockholm District Court approved a detention request for Mr. Assange, who had traveled to London. Two days later, Swedish police issued an international arrest warrant.\u00a0<strong>On December 8, 2010, Assange is taken into British custody and taken to an extradition hearing<\/strong>. Eight days later, Assange posts bail and walks free in London until\u00a0<strong>May 30, 2012<\/strong>\u00a0when the UK Supreme Court rules that he should be extradited to Sweden.<\/p>\n<p><strong>August 16, 2012, Assange begins his asylum at the Ecuadorian embassy in London &#8211; where he has remained for over five years.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In\u00a0<strong>February, 2016,\u00a0<\/strong>a UN panel found Assange to be\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.zerohedge.com\/news\/2016-02-06\/un-rules-wikileaks-founder-julian-assange-being-detained-unlawfully\"><strong>detained unlawfully<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0in\u00a0the Ecuadorian embassy.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.zerohedge.com\/sites\/default\/files\/inline-images\/160205115725-julian-assange-un-ruling-reax-bts-00000404-exlarge-169.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.zerohedge.com\/sites\/default\/files\/inline-images\/160205115725-julian-assange-un-ruling-reax-bts-00000404-exlarge-169.jpg\" alt=\"asd\" width=\"507\" height=\"285\" data-entity-type=\"file\" data-entity-uuid=\"3aa19bcf-e286-4f96-bc3c-d3640f103c6f\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><em>Julian Assange holding UN decision<\/em><\/p>\n<p>In\u00a0<strong>May, 2017<\/strong>, Swedish authorities\u00a0<strong>once again dropped<\/strong>\u00a0their case against Julian Assange, with his Swedish lawyer Per Samuelsson told Swedish media\u00a0&#8220;It is a total victory for Julian Assange,&#8221; adding\u00a0&#8220;He is free to leave the embassy whenever he wants.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><b>Unfortunately<\/b>, that&#8217;s not going to be quite so easy for the time being &#8211; as Assange faces immediate arrest by the UK\u00a0<strong>for skipping bail in his extradition hearing.\u00a0<\/strong>Moreover, in April of this year,\u00a0<em>CNN\u00a0<\/em>and the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/archive.is\/0t6R1\"><em>Washington Post<\/em><\/a>\u00a0simultaneously reported that\u00a0<strong>Attorney General Jeff Sessions&#8217; DOJ has<\/strong><strong>\u00a0prepared criminal charges against\u00a0Assange over 2010 leaks of diplomatic cables and military documents.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>While the DOJ seems intent on locking Assange up, the WikiLeaks founder has also received tremendous support from certain members of congress.<\/p>\n<p>As we\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.zerohedge.com\/news\/2017-12-25\/julian-assange-twitter-account-mysteriously-goes-dark-days-after-seth-rich-hint\">reported last week<\/a>, Congressman Dana Rohrabacher travelled to London in August with journalist Charles Johnson for a meeting with Assange, where Rohrabacher\u00a0said\u00a0<strong>the WikiLeaks founder offered &#8220;firsthand&#8221; information proving that the Trump campaign did not collude with Russia, and which would refute the Russian hacking theory<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Rohrabacher brought that message back to Trump&#8217;s Chief of Staff, John Kelly, to propose a deal. In exchange for a presidential pardon,\u00a0<strong>Assange would share evidence that would refute the Russian hacking theory\u00a0<\/strong>by proving they weren&#8217;t the source of the emails, according to the\u00a0<em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.wsj.com\/articles\/gop-congressman-sought-trump-deal-on-wikileaks-russia-1505509918?tesla=y&amp;mod=e2tw\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">WSJ<\/a><\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>However &#8211; when Trump was asked in late September about the Assange proposal,\u00a0<strong>he responded that he&#8217;d &#8220;never heard&#8221; of it<\/strong>, causing Rohrabacher to unleash on John Kelly, who he blamed for blocking the proposal from reaching the President.\u00a0Rohrabacher told the\u00a0<em><a href=\"http:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2017\/09\/26\/white-house-aides-are-stopping-deal-with-assange-congressman-says\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Daily Caller<\/a>:\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;I think the president&#8217;s answer indicates that\u00a0<strong>there is a wall around him that is being created by people who do not want to expose this fraud<\/strong>\u00a0that there was collusion between our intelligence community and the leaders of the Democratic Party,&#8221; Rohrabacher told The Daily Caller Tuesday in a phone interview.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;<strong>This would have to be a cooperative effort between his own staff and the leadership in the intelligence communities to try to prevent the president from making the decision as to whether or not he wants to take the steps necessary to expose this horrendous lie that was shoved down the American people&#8217;s throats<\/strong>\u00a0so incredibly earlier this year,&#8221; Rohrabacher said.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Contributing to the notion of deep-state interference, CIA director Mike Pompeo referred to WikiLeaks as a &#8220;<strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.zerohedge.com\/news\/2017-04-13\/cia-director-accuses-wikileaks-being-non-state-hostile-intelligence-service\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">hostile intelligence service<\/a><\/strong>&#8221; in April, calling Julian Assange &#8220;<strong>a fraud, a coward hiding behind a screen<\/strong>&#8221; for exposing information about democratic governments rather than authoritarian regimes.
