Luke Rosiak of\u00a0The Daily Caller<\/em>\u00a0pointed out a\u00a0mysterious twist in the case\u00a0of Pakistani national and long-time DNC\u00a0IT\u00a0contractor, Imran Awan –\u00a0who was arrested in July at Dulles Airport while trying to flee the country\u00a0after having wired nearly $300,000 to Pakistan<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Awan’s court date on four counts related to bank fraud, which had already been reschedule\u00a0twice,\u00a0has disappeared from the docket altogether:\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Which begs the question –\u00a0did Imran Awan cut a deal with Federal prosecutors?\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Of note – Imran’s wife, Hina Alvi – who had fled to Pakistan in March with the Awan children,\u00a0struck a deal<\/a>\u00a0with federal prosecutors in September to return to the U.S. and face charges.\u00a0<\/strong>One wonders why Alvi\u00a0would willingly leave the relative security\u00a0of her family in Pakistan to face arraignment in the United States?<\/p>\n

To briefly recap, our\u00a0report from last week<\/a><\/strong>, the Awan family – which was employed by quite a number of House Democrats,\u00a0had full access to highly sensitive Congressional computer systems<\/strong>, both on-site\u00a0and remotely from Pakistan<\/strong>, with which\u00a0they are suspected of committing a variety of crimes – including brokering classified information to hostile foreign governments.<\/p>\n
