The newspaper cover comes after a report that\u00a0Manigault Newman\u00a0may have been escorted<\/a>\u00a0out of the White House, shouting profanities, after being told of her firing by chief of staff\u00a0John Kelly<\/a><\/span>.<\/p>\n American Urban Radio Networks reporter April Ryan on Wednesday said Manigault Newman “did not resign.”<\/p>\n “She was even escorted out of [t]he building and off campus,” Ryan reported, citing multiple sources.<\/p>\n “She was very upset and said she wanted to speak to the president. According to sources, Gen. Kelly said the president was already informed and he signed off,” Ryan\u00a0said in her report<\/a>.<\/p>\n “Sources say General Kelly did the firing and Omarosa is alleged to have acted very vulgar and cursed a lot and said she helped elect\u00a0President Trump<\/a><\/span>,” Ryan also tweeted. “The word is General Kelly had it and got rid of her.”<\/p>\n Ryan and Manigault Newman are former friends, but have a\u00a0history of disputes<\/a>\u00a0while working at Trump’s\u00a0White House.<\/p>\n Her tweets came hours after White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said Wednesday\u00a0that\u00a0Manigault Newman tendered her resignation, and that her last day at the White House would be next month.<\/p>\n Ryan noted the White House is disputing reports that Manigault Newman was escorted out of the building by security.<\/p>\n CBS News<\/a>\u00a0also reported that Manigault Newman was fired, noting she attempted to enter the White House residence and subsequently set off the alarms.<\/p>\n Previously, Manigault Newman was a reality TV star and contestant on season 1 of “The Apprentice,” the NBC reality show\u00a0formerly hosted by Trump.<\/p>\n Early Thursday,\u00a0Manigault Newman\u00a0pushed back<\/a>\u00a0on the report that she was fired from her job in a contentious confrontation with chief of staff John Kelly and escorted off the White House grounds.<\/p>\n \u201cI resigned and I didn\u2019t do that in the residence, as is being reported,\u201d\u00a0she told ABC\u2019s \u201cGood Morning America.\u201d<\/p>\n
