Former Inspector General Charles McCullough III told\u00a0Fox News<\/a>\u00a0Chief Intel correspondent Catherine Herridge that he\u00a0was under intense\u00a0pressure from senior officials on the left \u2013 with one Clinton campaign official threatening that he and another\u00a0government investigator would be immediately fired under a Hillary Clinton presidency:<\/p>\n \u201cIt was told in no uncertain terms, by a source directly from the campaign, that we would be the first two to be fired<\/strong>\u00a0– with [Clinton\u2019s] administration.\u00a0That that was definitely going to happen.<\/strong>\u201d \u2013Charles McCullough III<\/p><\/blockquote>\n As a refresher, over 2,100 classified emails were sent over Clinton\u2019s personal server, which was used\u00a0exclusively\u00a0<\/strong>for government business. Despite this, former FBI Director James Comey \u2013 who had drafted Clinton\u2019s exoneration letter\u00a0months before<\/a>\u00a0reviewing evidence in the case\u00a0\u2013 recommended that the DOJ not prosecute the case.<\/p>\n McCullough was recommended to Obama by then-Director of National Intelligence, James Clapper, who told McCullough that Clinton\u2019s conduct was \u201cextremely reckless,\u201d adding \u201cthe campaign \u2026 will have heartburn about that.\u201d<\/p>\n Via\u00a0Fox News:<\/p>\n He [McCullough] said Clapper\u2019s Clinton email comments came during an in-person meeting about a year before the presidential election \u2013 in late December 2015 or early 2016.\u00a0\u201c[Clapper] was as off-put as the rest of us were.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n After the Clapper meeting, McCullough said his team was marginalized.\u00a0\u201cI was told by senior officials to keep [Clapper] out of it,\u201d\u00a0<\/strong>he said, while acknowledging he tried to keep his boss in the loop.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n In January 2016, McCullough told Republicans on the Senate Intelligence and Foreign Affairs committees that emails classified above\u00a0\u201cTop Secret\u201d had been passed through the former secretary of state\u2019s private, unsecure server\u00a0\u2013\u00a0such as an\u00a0email about Benghazi<\/a>\u00a0she sent to daughter Chelsea Clinton\u00a0(using pseudonym\u00a0Diane Reynolds<\/a>)\u00a0on the night of September 11th, 2012<\/strong>\u00a0from \u2018@clintonemail.com\u2019 which not only divulged highly classified military intel over a non-government server vulnerable to foreign surveillance \u2013 it also revealed that the Obama administration knew that an \u201cAl Queda-like group\u201d was responsible for the attack.<\/p>\n One wonders what Chelsea\u2019s security clearance was at the time?<\/p>\n Instead of informing the American public that radical Islam was responsible for the attack, the Obama administration fabricated a story \u2013 peddling the lie that anger over an anti-Islamic YouTube video resulted in the attack,\u00a0which led to the arrest and\u00a0imprisonment\u00a0of an innocent man<\/a>.<\/p>\n Hillary knew it was an “Al Qeda-like group” hours after it happened when she told Chelsea (“Diane Reynolds”) top secret information.\u00a0pic.twitter.com\/LiOJj3jck1<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n \u2014 ZeroPointNow (@ZeroPointNow)\u00a0July 15, 2017<\/a><\/p>\n What\u2019s interesting about\u00a0that, is an anonymous 4chan poster known as \u201cFBI Anon\u201d – whose breadcrumbs of information have been largely correct,\u00a0posted on July 2, 2016<\/a>\u00a0that Clinton had\u00a0\u201cSAP level programs on her server, which if made public, would literally cause an uprising and possibly foreign declarations of war.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n Then, on October 16, 2016 – three weeks before former FBI Director Comey cleared Clintin, “FBI Anon” elaborated on SAP programs and made an unverified claim about Clinton:<\/p>\n A Special Access Program is an intelligence program classified above top-secret. They are held on closed servers at secret locations. The only way to get one is if you are specifically read on to a program, have a need to know, then you must physically go to a location and pass through several layers of security to even look at the program. A good example in non-classified terms would be the locations and operations of our intelligence operatives around the glove, or our missile silo locations.\u00a0SAP is granted on a need to know basis, and Hillary did not have any need to know any of the programs on her server. All I can tell you about the SAPs is that Hillary had them, and she did not have proper authority to have any of them. They were leaked to her by someone, and she did sell them to overseas donors. Possessing them alone makes her guilty of treason.”<\/strong>\u00a0–FBI Anon<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n In response to McCullough\u2019s findings, Democrats turned their backs\u00a0on the Obama-appointed Inspector General for doing his job.<\/p>\n \u201cAll of a sudden I became a shill of the right,\u201d\u00a0<\/strong>McCullough said, adding\u00a0\u201cAnd I was told by members of Congress, \u2018Be careful.\u00a0<\/strong>You\u2019re losing your credibility.\u00a0You need to be careful. There are people out to get you.\u2019\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n McCullough told Fox of\u00a0\u201can effort\u2026 certainly on the part of the campaign to mislead people into thinking that there was nothing to see here.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n As the Clinton campaign geared up for the 2016 election, WikiLeaks documents reveal that Hillary\u2019s inner circle was already starting to spin the investigation \u2013 writing in an August 2015 email that \u201cClinton only used her account for unclassified email.\u00a0When information is reviewed for public release, it is common for information previously unclassified to be upgraded to classified.\u201d<\/p>\n McCullough was critical of this response, telling Fox \u201cThere was an effort \u2026 certainly on the part of the campaign\u00a0to mislead people into thinking that there was nothing to see here.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n In response to the Inspector General\u2019s pushback,\u00a0seven senior Democrats sent a letter to McCullough and his counterpart at the State Department, raising concerns over the impartiality of the Clinton email investigation.\u00a0<\/strong>McCullough, however, was not arriving at any conclusions himself \u2013 he was simply passing along the findings of individual government agencies on appropriate classifications assigned to the emails.<\/p>\n Fox News\u00a0reports:<\/p>\n McCullough described one confrontation with Democratic Sen. Dianne Feinstein\u2019s office just six weeks before the\u00a0election, amid pressure to respond to the letter \u2013 which Feinstein had co-signed.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n \u201cI thought that any response to that letter would just hyper-politicize the situation,\u201d\u00a0McCullough said.\u00a0\u201cI recall even offering to resign, to the staff director. I said,\u00a0\u2018Tell [Feinstein] I\u2019ll resign tonight. I\u2019d be happy to go. I\u2019m not going to respond to that letter. \nAs one of a handful of people who reviewed the 22 Top Secret Clinton emails deemed too classified to ever see the light of day, McCullough says\u00a0\u201cThere was a very good reason to withhold those emails \u2026 there would have been harm to national security,\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0adding\u00a0\u201csources and methods, lives and operations\u201d could be put at risk.\u00a0<\/strong>According to Fox, some of those email exchanges were considered\u00a0Special Access Privelage (SAP), or \u201cabove top secret.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n\n
