MCCASKILL\u00a0 |\u00a0 Politico<\/p>\n<p>Former secretary of state and 2016 Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton on Saturday described President Donald Trump as \u201cobsessed\u201d with her continued public presence.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cApparently, you know, my former opponent is obsessed with my speaking out,\u201d Clinton said in an appearance alongside her husband, former President Bill Clinton, at a forum in Little Rock, Arkansas, commemorating the 25th anniversary of his election. \u201cApparently there was another, somebody told me, tweet today. Honestly, between tweeting and golfing, how does he get anything done? I don\u2019t understand it. Maybe that\u2019s the whole point.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Trump revived his \u201cCrooked Hillary\u201d moniker via Twitter on Saturday morning, claiming that his vanquished general election opponent is the \u201cworst (and biggest) loser of all time.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cShe just can\u2019t stop, which is so good for the Republican Party,\u201d the president tweeted. \u201cHillary, get on with your life and give it another try in three years!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Clinton said in her Little Rock speech she wouldn\u2019t be silenced. \u201cI\u2019m gonna keep speaking out,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>She dominated Saturday\u2019s conversation, which was moderated by James Carville, a Bill Clinton campaign veteran and Hillary Clinton campaign adviser.<\/p>\n<aside class=\"story-related cl-l db \">\n<aside class=\"content-group inline-module-playbook\">\n<section class=\"speedbump layout-bi\">\n<div class=\"speedbump-item pos-alpha\">\n<div class=\"spotlight spotlight--flex\">\n<div class=\"summary link-alt fx1\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"speedbump-item pos-beta\">\n<div class=\"js-tealium-newsletter\" data-subscription-module=\"newsletter_inline_standard_Playbook - POLITICO\">\n<div class=\"dari-frame dari-frame-loaded\" data-insertion-mode=\"replace\" data-extra-form-data=\"_frame.path=5c388a2e37218b65f1db610df3d5c42a&amp;_frame.name=inline-module-playbook-full-0000014f-1646-d88f-a1cf-5f46b7bd0000\">\n<p class=\"legal-disclaimer\">\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n<\/aside>\n<\/aside>\n<p>She criticized the current administration for pulling the U.S. out of the Paris climate agreement, failing to reauthorize the Children\u2019s Health Insurance Program and promoting what she called the \u201cfairy tale\u201d that trickle-down economics will \u201cmake everything great.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYeah, we may be cutting Medicare and Medicaid and health care and make it more expensive to go to school and all the stuff that they\u2019re trying to do in Washington, but it\u2019s all gonna work out,\u201d she said sarcastically. \u201cIt\u2019s such nonsense.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>She also mocked Trump for his approach to foreign policy, contrasting his Twitter diplomacy to her husband\u2019s approach to international issues.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere was nothing fast and easy about it,\u201d she said. \u201cHe didn\u2019t tweet about it. He got to work about it, and he actually got it done.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>While Clinton appeared to take ownership for her unexpected loss last November, she also blamed what she maintained was the \u201cperfect storm\u201d of outside factors, including Russia\u2019s election meddling and former FBI director James Comey\u2019s 11th-hour decision to publicize the bureau\u2019s late examination of emails related to her use of a private server during her time as secretary under President Barack Obama.<\/p>\n<p>Clinton, who lost the election despite winning nearly 3 million more popular votes, told Mother Jones in an interview\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.motherjones.com\/politics\/2017\/11\/hillary-clinton-on-trumps-election-there-are-lots-of-questions-about-its-legitimacy\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">published<\/a>\u00a0Friday that \u201cthere are lots of questions about\u201d the legitimacy of Trump\u2019s election.<\/p>\n<aside class=\"story-related\">\n<article class=\"story-frag format-sm\">\n<div class=\"summary\">\n<footer class=\"meta\">\n<p class=\"byline\">\n<\/footer>\n<\/div>\n<\/article>\n<\/aside>\n<p>In a separate interview Friday, Clinton\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.politico.com\/story\/2017\/11\/17\/hillary-clinton-trump-roy-moore-sexual-misconduct-247666\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">told WABC\u2019s Rita Cosby<\/a>\u00a0that there is nothing she admires about Trump\u2019s presidency.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe answer is absolutely no,\u201d she said. \u201cI didn\u2019t think he\u2019d be as bad as he turned out to be.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>And while much of her rhetoric reflected on her and her husband\u2019s experience in the 1992 campaign and the next eight years in the White House, she repeatedly knocked Trump and his administration.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere is no such thing as an alternative fact,\u201d she said at one point, referencing the term White House counselor Kellyanne Conway coined. \u201cIt does not exist \u2014 in politics or in nature. And it was astonishing to me the things people believed about me in this campaign.<\/p>\n<p>Clinton recalled voters telling the people who knocked on doors for her: \u201cWell, I can\u2019t support her. She killed somebody; I can\u2019t support her.
