Wanted our reporting shutdown.  <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/Tucker?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#Tucker<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/FoxNews?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@FoxNews<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash; Tucker Carlson (@TuckerCarlson) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/TuckerCarlson\/status\/925152839424454658?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">October 31, 2017<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<div class=\"max-width-video-wrapper\">\n<div class=\"fluid-width-video-wrapper\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" id=\"fitvid856511\" src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/if-5aPvI8L4\" width=\"300\" height=\"150\" frameborder=\"0\" data-mce-fragment=\"1\"><\/iframe><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.zerohedge.com\/news\/2017-10-30\/paul-manafort-asked-surrender-fbi\"><br \/>\nManfort was indicted\u00a0<\/a>over the weekend on 12 counts ranging from tax fraud, money laundering and giving false statements between 2006 and 2015, and is currently under house arrest after turning himself over to the FBI Monday morning \u2013 fueling speculation as to whether Tony Podesta\u2019s sudden departure from his firm is connected.<\/p>\n<p>Of note, Monday&#8217;s indictment lists &#8220;Company A&#8221; and &#8220;Company B&#8221; as firms involved in the investigation &#8211; which\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.nbcnews.com\/news\/investigations\/sources-podesta-group-mercury-are-companies-b-indictment-n815721\">NBC reports\u00a0<\/a>are the Podesta Group and DC public relations firm Mercury Public Affairs.<\/p>\n<p>Last week\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/ibankcoin.com\/zeropointnow\/2017\/10\/25\/former-podesta-group-executive-says-firm-peddled-russian-oligarchs-all-over-dc-with-paul-manafort-video\/#sthash.lCftZFE9.kEWjyziv.dpbs\">Carlson reported\u00a0<\/a>that Tony Podesta is a central figure in Special Counsel Robert Mueller\u2019s investigation. Directly after his report, Carlson\u2019s show was contacted by a former long-time executive of the Podesta Group with \u201cdirect personal knowledge\u201d of Tony Podesta\u2019s questionable activities, which Carlson divulged the next evening.<\/p>\n<p>While the nature of Podesta\u2019s threat has not been made public, Carlson later tweeted<strong>\u00a0\u201cWe\u2019re confident the Mueller probe will reveal a lot more about Tony Podesta\u2019s lobbying practices in the near future.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>To review:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>After meeting with the former Podesta Group executive who has been \u201cextensively\u201d interviewed by Robert Mueller\u2019s Special Counsel, Tucker Carlson Tonight relayed several highly troubling aspects of the Tony Podesta\u2019s relationship with business associate and fellow lobbyist, Paul Manafort.<\/p>\n<p>According to the former Podesta Group executive, Manafort and Tony Podesta were running a Russian influence-peddling racket up and down Washington D.C., bringing a \u201cparade\u201d of Russian oligarchs to congress for meetings. Podesta was also \u201cBasically part of the Clinton Foundation,\u201d meeting regularly to discuss\u00a0<strong>the now-infamous Uranium One deal.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Highlights, as previously reported (<strong>video below<\/strong>):<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lobbyist and temporary Trump campaign manager Paul Manafort is at the center of the Russia probe \u2013 however the scope of the investigation has broadened to include his activities prior to the 2016 election.<\/li>\n<li>Manafort worked with the Podesta Group since at least 2011 on behalf of Russian interests, and was at the Podesta Group offices \u201call the time, at least once a month,\u201d peddling Russian influence through a shell group called the European Centre for a Modern Ukraine (ECMU).<\/li>\n<li>Manafort brought a \u201cparade\u201d of Russian oligarchs to congress for meetings with members and their staffs, however, the Russia\u2019s \u201ccentral effort\u201d was the Obama Administration.<\/li>\n<li>In 2013, John Podesta recommended that Tony hire David Adams, Hillary Clinton\u2019s chief adviser at the State Department, giving them a \u201cdirect liaison\u201d between the group\u2019s Russian clients and Hillary Clinton\u2019s State Department.<\/li>\n<li>In late 2013 or early 2014, Tony Podesta and a representative for the Clinton Foundation met to discuss how to help Uranium One \u2013 the Russian owned company that controls 20 percent of American Uranium Production \u2013 and whose board members gave over $100 million to the Clinton Foundation.<\/li>\n<li><strong>\u201cTony Podesta was basically part of the Clinton Foundation.\u201d<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Believing she would win the 2016 election, Russia considered the Podesta Group\u2019s connection to Hillary highly valuable.<\/li>\n<li>Podesta Group is a nebulous organization with no board oversight and all financial decisions made by Tony Podesta.
