Antifa activists around the country are declaring something huge is going to begin on Nov. 4. There are wild rumors of revolution and civil war. But what looks more likely is something along the lines of Occupy Wall Street on a national scale.<\/p>\n
And while violence is not inevitable, the inherently violent nature of antifa suggests scattered violence is very likely.<\/p>\n
The main group calling for gatherings around the country is \u201cRefuse Fascism,\u201d\u00a0which is a front group for the Revolutionary Communist Party.<\/a><\/p>\n The RCP is an openly anti-American leftist grouping noted for its overt call to abolish the United States of America. WND\u00a0reported in July the group protested the United States and burned American flags outside the Republican National Convention.<\/a><\/p>\n The party has even drafted a\u00a0\u201cConstitution for the New Socialist Republic in North America\u201d\u00a0<\/a>as a template for the post-American order and is widely noted for its cult of personality around its leader, Bob Avakian.<\/p>\n The obvious and overt links between \u201cRefuse Fascism\u201d and the \u201cRevolutionary Communist Party\u201d raise questions whether the groups should even be considered separate.<\/p>\n Incredibly, in an article meant to debunk the \u201cconspiracy theory\u201d about antifa looking to spark a civil war on Nov. 4, Newsweek allowed the Revolutionary Communist Party\u2019s Sunsara Taylor\u00a0to claim without rebuttal the two groups are unrelated.<\/a><\/p>\n Taylor is a staple of far-left protests around the country. In the past, she\u2019s\u00a0burned an American flag to protest the election of Donald Trump,\u00a0<\/a>berated\u00a0an 11-year-old girl praying a rosary during a pro-life protest\u00a0<\/a>and recently appeared on\u00a0Tucker Carlson\u2019s Fox News program to accuse President Trump of operating using \u201cHitler\u2019s playbook.\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n Now, Taylor\u2019s group is\u00a0hoping mass protest will end the \u201chate and bigotry of the Trump\/Pence fascist regime.\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n Refuse Fascism has\u00a0released a list of events and gathering places around the country where it is hoping supporters will assemble.\u00a0<\/a>The strategy is for the mass gathering itself to lead to instability which will somehow lead to the collapse of the administration.<\/p>\n As Refuse Fascism itself put it:<\/p>\n \u201cOur determination to persist and not back down will compel the whole world to take note. Every force and faction in the power structure would be forced to respond to our demand. The cracks and divisions among the powers already evident today will sharpen and widen. As we draw more and more people forward to stand up, all of this could lead to a situation where this illegitimate regime is removed from power.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n Such an approach works well for the Revolutionary Communist Party and other far-left groups because it allows \u201cRefuse Fascism\u201d to work as a \u201cfront group.\u201d One of the leading misconceptions about antifa among many conservatives is the idea \u201cantifa\u201d constitutes a single grouping or organization. Antifa is not a singularly group, nor is it \u201cfunded by George Soros.\u201d<\/p>\n Instead, as the WND report\u00a0\u201cAntifa: What Americans Need to Know about the Alt-Left\u201d\u00a0<\/a>shows, antifa is better described as a brand than as a singular organization. The original \u201canti-fascist groups\u201d were explicit creations of the European communist parties, a response to the new fascist movements which had arisen to suppress communist revolutionary movements following the end of World War I.<\/p>\n The antifa brand and its direct link with the communists can be seen in the flags-within-flags logo used by antifa to this day, featuring the red and black flags and originally created by the German Communist Party.<\/p>\n \u201cAntifa always was just a brand for already existing communist and anarchist activists,\u201d the report finds. \u201cIn its origins, antifa wasn\u2019t even a separate concept, just a front group for already existing leftists. And today\u2019s antifa draws its symbols, insignia and philosophy most directly to the far-left groups that arose in interwar Germany\u2026to put it another way, every American neo-Nazi may be using the logo from a German political party of the 1930s \u2013 but so is every anti-fascist.\u201d<\/p>\n This is an advantage for antifa because it allows communists to say they are simply opposing \u201cracism\u201d and \u201cfascism\u201d\u201dinstead of actually saying what they stand for. For example, Teen Vogue is praising antifa and\u00a0giving adoring interviews with antifa supporters.\u00a0<\/a>Mark Bray, author of \u201cAntifa: The Anti-Fascist Handbook,\u201d claims the movement is about \u201ca larger revolutionary politics that aspires toward creating a better world.\u201d<\/p>\n But as the WND report makes clear, Bray himself admits antifa denies the right of free speech. And as revealed in the report, he even speaks openly about wanting to inflict harm on Trump voters.<\/p>\n Nov. 4 is thus not going to be a \u201ccivil war.\u201d<\/p>\n Indeed, antifa may be counting on baiting conservatives into engaging in violence and thus ensuring favorable media coverage. What is actually occurring is a nationwide mobilization of far-left extremists, spearheaded by a communist party front group. The objective is to draw non-communist supporters into participating in these rallies and radicalizing them while simultaneously creating instability. Eventually, they hope to force a crisis.<\/p>\n The \u201cantifa\u201d brand is simply being used to draw recruits and favorable press for the communists. And as the new WND Special Report makes clear, that\u2019s what \u201canti-fascism\u201d has always been about.<\/p>\n
