The list\u00a0includes people from California to Massachusetts to the provinces of Canada.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p-text\">They range in age from 20\u00a0to 67. They were mothers and fathers, sons and daughters, grandparents and grandchildren.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p-text\">They worked in hospitals, police stations, schools, day cares, restaurants and fishing boats. They knew his wife was at the show. Soon, news came that she was dead.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p-text\">Heather Alvarado ran an in-home day care center and worked with the department&#8217;s Ladies Auxiliary. He was hit. He was bleeding profusely. But he had just enough time to tell her he loved her.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p-text\">&#8220;I love you, too. I&#8217;ll see you in heaven,&#8221; Laurie responded, according to her father, Jerry Cook. Two days after the shooting, they got the call.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p-text\">Friends of Berger said he was shot somewhere on his torso and they tried to resuscitate him. But the shooting intensified where they were, forcing them to flee the area.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p-text\">Moore described her brother as a fun-loving, hard-working father of three who was born and raised in Wauwatosa, Wis. She didn\u2019t think about it. She just knew she needed to be there.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p class=\"p-text\">Bowers had an infectious laugh that came with a wide grin,\u00a0Bolks\u00a0remembered. But she could also be tough as nails and was fiercely loyal. In the decades since, he and Denise Burditus had\u00a0two children and four grandchildren, with a fifth on the way.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p-text\">&#8220;In 32 years, it grew stronger every day,&#8221; Tony Burditus\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.cnn.com\/videos\/us\/2017\/10\/04\/las-vegas-shooting-victim-burditus-ac.cnn\">told CNN<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p-text\">The couple was trying to escape the concert when she was struck. She went down immediately. Someone nearby helped move\u00a0her to a safer area, a\u00a0nurse tried to help, and a stranger in a truck drove her to the hospital. But it was too late.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p-text\">Denise Burditus has spent her career in banking. Last year she decided to go back to school. Middle School started their day Monday delivering tragic news to their students:\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.usatoday.com\/story\/news\/local\/vermont\/2017\/10\/02\/las-vegas-shooting-victim-dorset-vermont-native\/724527001\/\">one of their own<\/a>\u00a0died in the Las Vegas shooting.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p-text\">Casey, a Vermont native who moved to California,\u00a0was a special education teacher at the school for nine years.
