This new language that&#8217;s forming, I don&#8217;t even recognize it,&#8221; Lawrence said regarding the state of affairs in the United States.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It&#8217;s also scary to know, it&#8217;s been proven through science that climate change is due to human activity, and we continue to ignore it, and the only voice that we really have is through voting.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;And we voted and it was really startling.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Lawrence then got to the crux of her argument by suggesting Hurricane Harvey, which dumped more than four feet of rain on the Houston area\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.newsmax.com\/TheWire\/harvey-houston-homes-destroyed\/2017\/08\/31\/id\/810951\/\"><strong>last month,<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0and Hurricane Irma, a deadly storm that&#8217;s expected to\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.newsmax.com\/Headline\/Trump-Video-Irma\/2017\/09\/08\/id\/812427\/\"><strong>hit South Florida this weekend,<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0are nature&#8217;s way of getting back at humans for denying climate change.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;You know you&#8217;re watching these hurricanes now, and it&#8217;s really hard especially while promoting this movie, not to feel mother nature&#8217;s rage and wrath,&#8221; she said.<\/p>\n<p>Lawrence also took some shots at Trump, saying with a smile, &#8220;I don&#8217;t find him confusing. I think I know exactly what he is.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Lawrence is an outspoken Trump critic.
