Conservative radio show host Rush Limbaugh on Friday\u00a0warned<\/a>\u00a0that the United States is well on its way to a second Civil War, and he places direct blame on<\/p>\n \u201cAmerica is under attack from within. Our culture, our history, our founding are under the most direct assault I have seen in my life. And I\u2019m sure it\u2019s the same with you. We haven\u2019t seen anything like this. You might even get away with saying that we are on the cusp of a second civil war. Some of you might say that we are already into it, that it has already begun. However you characterize it, though, we are under attack from within. And it\u2019s being bought and paid for by people from outside America, in addition to inside.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n Limbaugh told his listeners that he believed left-wing hedge fund billionaire George Soros and other \u201cinternational financiers\u201d are continuously working toward the \u201cobjective\u201d of taking America \u201cdown as a superpower,\u201d in order to \u201cerase the United States as a powerful or super powerful nation.\u201d<\/p>\n During the Friday segment, Limbaugh noted the importance of fighting for U.S. history, and called on American citizens to rally and defend historical symbols and monuments.<\/p>\n Directly referring to the removal of controversial, Confederate monuments in the U.S., Limbaugh addressed U.S. citizens.<\/p>\n \u201cNow, folks, in order to defend America, which I believe is incumbent upon all of us \u2026 you have to begin knowing our history,\u201d Limbaugh said.<\/p>\n He continued, \u201cIf you\u2019re gonna defend the United States of America, you have to know our history. You have to know the purpose of the United States of America. You have to know unequivocally and proudly the United States\u2019 place in history. And that is why erasing and distorting our history is crucial for the left to succeed.\u201d<\/p>\n Limbaugh concluded the segment by accusing \u201cleft-wing\u201d protesters \u2014\u00a0to include Antifa activists \u2014\u00a0of having an agenda to \u201cdistort, erase, and impugn [America\u2019s] history.\u201d<\/p>\n ___ Rush Limbaugh issues dire warning that US is on its way to another Civil War.
