The questions with the most votes would get asked.<\/p>\n<p>A sampling of some of the most popular questions as of Tuesday, according to employees, reflects the spectrum of views on the memo and its fallout.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\nOne question asks\u00a0<strong><em>how Google will protect female employees who have been harassed online for criticizing the memo<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Another asks<em><strong>\u00a0whether Google lowers the bar for diversity candidates.<\/strong><\/em><br \/>\nSome questions\u00a0<strong>complain about how conservatives aren\u2019t welcome at Google<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>And one asks\u00a0<strong>how Google plans to stop leaks to the press<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>A person familiar added that an additional top question was:\u00a0<strong><em>\u201cWhat can we do to clarify for the entire company that there is one hiring bar,\u201d regardless of race or gender?<\/em><\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>However,\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.wsj.com\/articles\/google-engineers-firing-fuels-debate-among-employees-1502395326\">as The Wall Street Journal reports<\/a>,\u00a0<strong>the meeting has been cancelled because right-wing websites published the names of employees who had proposed questions, raising security concerns<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\nGoogle Chief Executive Sundar Pichai said in an email to employees that the company decided to cancel the highly anticipated meeting after\u00a0<strong>employees expressed concerns \u201cabout their safety and worried they may be \u2018outed\u2019 publicly for asking a question in the Town Hall.\u201d<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The implications of this are clear &#8211;\u00a0<strong>there&#8217;s a leaker at Google.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Ironically, while the national liberal media speaks with one voice against Damore&#8217;s temerity to unleash some free speech bombs, and tech CEOs lined up arm in arm to support Pichai in his firing of Damore,<strong>\u00a0Google employees are split over management\u2019s dismissal of Mr. Damore,<\/strong>\u00a0according to interviews and informal polls of employees. The\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.wsj.com\/articles\/google-engineers-firing-fuels-debate-among-employees-1502395326\">Journal\u00a0<\/a>notes that some employees say Google executives didn\u2019t go far enough to denounce Mr. Damore\u2019s stance.
