In a somewhat shockingly frank interview with\u00a0The Washington Post<\/a>, Senate Majority Leader Chuck\u00a0Schumer says that Democrats, not Russia, are to blame for Hillary Clinton\u2019s loss to President Trump<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\nWhen you lose to somebody who has 40 percent popularity, you don\u2019t blame other things – [James] Comey, Russia – you blame yourself.<\/strong>”<\/p>\n

“So what did we do wrong?\u00a0People didn\u2019t know what we stood for, just that we were against Trump. And still believe that<\/strong>.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The reason for Schumer’s sudden bout of honesty appears to be a rebranding effort for The Democrats.\u00a0As The Hill reports<\/a>,<\/p>\n

\nThe Democratic party is planning to unveil a new agenda which includes the slogan, \u201cA Better Deal: Better Jobs, Better Wages, Better Future,\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0and Schumer vows that it\u2019s an expression \u201cthat everyone will use – a better deal for workers, a better deal for women, a better deal for prescription-drug buyers.\u201d<\/p>\n

Schumer said\u00a0the new agenda \u201cis not about moving the party left or right, and it\u2019s not about appealing to one coalition or another.\u00a0<\/strong>A strong, sharp-edged, populist, bold economic message appeals to the Obama coalition and the people who voted for Trump – former Democrats who voted for Trump.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Of course, this is not the narrative that Hillary Clinton has spewed for the last 8 months.<\/strong><\/u>\u00a0As we detailed in June<\/a>, Hillary Clinton has put forth a\u00a0formidable list of culprits<\/strong>\u00a0for why she lost the 2016 presidential election.\u00a0The Fox News Research team\u00a0<\/a>totaled up the excuses and found a whopping 24 items!<\/p>\n

<\/a><\/p>\n

However there seems to be one glaring omission<\/strong>… “Hillary Clinton!”<\/p>\n

And it’s not just Trump supporters, as\u00a0Liberty Blitzkrieg’s Mike Krieger notes<\/a>,\u00a0even Hillary Clinton’s former aides are sick of her incessant bullshit<\/strong><\/em>… Personally, I\u2019m in the camp that thinks a large percentage of Trump voters didn\u2019t support him out of personal affinity, but rather as a means to ensure that Hillary Clinton would finally shut-up and go away forever.\u00a0That is not happening.<\/strong><\/p>\n

I issued a code red warning last\u00a0month highlighting that I thought Hillary Clinton\u2019s ongoing\u00a0spotlight-hogging, blame deflecting, Russia fear-mongering tour is\u00a0driven by a remnant\u00a0burning desire to be President and the delusional dream that it could still happen. As I explained in the post,\u00a0Manufacturing Resistance \u2013 The American Public is Being Manipulated Into Irrelevance<\/a>:<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nThe current environment is fertile ground for real populist movements to fight for an improvement in the lives of average Americans, but the public is being fooled into focusing all its energy on an unproven Russia collusion\u00a0theory which hasn\u2019t\u00a0caused any of our\u00a0very real national suffering. Our very own homegrown racketeers and thieves are to blame for that, but we\u2019re being told to focus our attention on Russia. This isn\u2019t an accident people, you\u2019re being played, and played quite easily at that.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Ironically, \u201cthe resistance\u201d is actually sucking all the air out of what should be real resistance. After spending a few months in the woods, Hillary\u00a0is now actively moving to co-opt the entire movement. Why\u2019s she doing that? I think she still covets\u00a0the throne, and I think she\u2019s\u00a0power hungry and delusional enough to go for\u00a0it.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Hillary\u2019s positioning to run again, and there\u2019s still no viable new third party. Even worse, there\u2019s the naive and gullible Bernie Sanders still trying to \u201cchange Democrats from within,\u201d a laughable and useless exercise. It\u2019s unbelievably pathetic and disempowering, but it could get a lot worse. Brace yourselves\u00a0for a few years\u00a0of Hillary running around in leather jackets talking like a \u201cpopulist\u201d as she desperately attempts to reinvent herself.\u00a0Our national\u00a0nightmare is far from over.<\/em><\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

I don\u2019t know much, but I do know if the Democrats renominate Hillary Clinton or some other war-mongering, corporate stooge you can pretty much guarantee eight years of\u00a0Donald Trump. If there\u2019s no real choice, and we\u2019re destined to go\u00a0down in imperial flames anyway, we may as well have the reality tv guy entertain\u00a0us along the way.<\/p>\n

Perhaps it is that realization that finally knocked Schumer off his pedestal this morning?<\/p>\n

It seems that the\u00a0National Weather Center\u00a0<\/a>may know what comes next…<\/p>\n
