Former national security advisor Susan Rice\u2019s testimony for the House Intelligence Committee has been reportedly postponed. Rice had formerly been scheduled to speak on Tuesday, but she has been\u00a0rescheduled<\/a>\u00a0for a later date.<\/p>\n Rice has been subpoenaed for her role in possibly improperly \u201cunmasking\u201d the names of some Americans, some of whom may have been involved in the Trump campaign.<\/p>\n Former Security Advisor Michael Flynn was a potential victim of Rice\u2019s unmasking, a transcript of his conversation with a Russian official later being leaked to the press.<\/p>\n Rice was expected to answer questions about the unmasking on Tuesday. The new date of her testimony has not yet been given.<\/p>\n Attorney and news anchor Gregg Jarrett came on Lou Dobbs tonight to talk about Rice\u2019s recent deferral, suggesting her lawyers had told her to \u201cclam up\u2026because she\u2019s in legal jeopardy.\u201d<\/p>\n Gregg Jarrett outlines the three potential crimes Rice could have committed:<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s a crime to lie in your request to unmask, there\u2019s only one reason- you would decide that it was [a] national security [threat].\u00a0If the document on its face says there are no national security concerns, then you\u2019ve lied.<\/strong>\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s also a crime to use your public office for a corrupt purpose, that would be to lie.<\/strong>\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s a crime to unmask and leak a name to the media, likely Michael Flynn<\/strong>.\u201d<\/p>\n Then he ended:<\/p>\n \u201cAt least one crime was committed here, likely many more.\u201d<\/p>\n You can watch his whole\u00a0<\/strong>analyses<\/strong>\u00a0here, it\u2019s great!<\/strong><\/p>\n
