{"id":76612,"date":"2017-07-01T07:44:19","date_gmt":"2017-07-01T11:44:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/stateofthenation2012.com\/?p=76612"},"modified":"2017-07-01T07:44:48","modified_gmt":"2017-07-01T11:44:48","slug":"eric-holder-sends-ominous-late-night-tweet-to-career-dojfbi-employees","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/stateofthenation2012.com\/?p=76612","title":{"rendered":"<b>Eric Holder Sends Ominous Late Night Tweet To &#8220;Career DOJ\/FBI&#8221; Employees<\/b>"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><!--more-->ZeroHedege.com<\/p>\n<p>Eric Holder, Obama&#8217;s former Attorney General and a man who\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/thehill.com\/blogs\/blog-briefing-room\/news\/338602-holders-low-profile-about-to-change\">recently hinted<\/a>\u00a0at an interest in pursuing a 2020 bid for the White House, issued a rather ominous warning to the\u00a0<strong>&#8220;career men &amp; women&#8221; of the DOJ\/FBI<\/strong>\u00a0last night saying that their\u00a0<strong>&#8220;actions and integrity will be unfairly questioned&#8221; before calling upon them to &#8220;be prepared, be strong.&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong>&#8220;To the career men &amp; women at DOJ\/FBI: your actions and integrity will be unfairly questioned. Be prepared, be strong. Duty. Honor. Country.&#8221;<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<div class=\"SandboxRoot env-bp-350\" data-twitter-event-id=\"0\"><\/div>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">To the career men &amp; women at DOJ\/FBI: your actions and integrity will be unfairly questioned. Country.<\/p>\n<p>&mdash; Eric Holder (@EricHolder) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/EricHolder\/status\/880686761848045570?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">June 30, 2017<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>Of course, with the many scandals that plagued Obama&#8217;s Justice Department, it&#8217;s impossible to know exactly which one sparked Holder&#8217;s warning.<\/p>\n<p>Could it be the\u00a0<strong>outrageous unmasking of Trump officials<\/strong>\u00a0in the waning days of Obama&#8217;s administration, an obvious attempt to exploit the collection of foreign intelligence and use it as a political weapon of mass destruction, and\u00a0<strong>subsequent illegal leaking of that information to the media?\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0Certainly, this would seem to be a concern for\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.zerohedge.com\/news\/2017-06-29\/susan-rice-agrees-testify-house-intel-panel-closed-session-report\">Susan Rice<\/a>\u00a0who has been asked to testify before the House Intelligence Committee.<\/p>\n<p>Or, is it a\u00a0<strong>simple message directed at FBI Director McCabe<\/strong>\u00a0who\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.zerohedge.com\/news\/2017-06-26\/mccabes-revenge-circa-suggests-flynn-investigation-was-launched-pure-retaliation\">we recently pointed out<\/a>\u00a0is coming under increasing scrutiny for not recusing himself from the investigation of Michael Flynn, a man against whom he very clearly harbored a personal vendetta.<\/p>\n<p>Or, perhaps its that whole James Comey revelation that Eric Holder&#8217;s replacement,\u00a0<strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.zerohedge.com\/news\/2017-06-23\/senate-judiciary-committee-opens-probe-loretta-lynch\">Loretta Lynch, colluded with the Hillary Clinton campaign and the FBI<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>to quash the investigation of Hillary&#8217;s email scandal.<\/p>\n<p>Or, perhaps it&#8217;s just a general warning after the FISA court recently revealed the the Obama administration conducted illegal queries targeting American citizens &#8220;<strong>with much greater frequency than had previously been disclosed to the Court&#8221;<\/strong>&#8230;an issue which it described as a\u00a0<strong>&#8220;very serious Fourth Amendment issue.&#8221;<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\n&#8220;Since 2011, NSA&#8217;s minimization procedures have prohibited use of U.S.-person identifiers to query the results of upstream Internet collection under Section 702.\u00a0 The October 26, 2016 Notice informed the Court that\u00a0<strong>NSA analysts had been conducting such queries in violation of that prohibition, with much greater frequency than had previously been disclosed to the Court.&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;At the October 26, 2016 hearing, the Court ascribed the government&#8217;s failure to disclose those IG and OCO reviews at the October 4, 2016 hearing to an<strong>\u00a0institutional &#8216;lack of candor&#8217;
