Wearing no makeup and giant Coke-bottle glasses, dressed in a gray mock-turtleneck and black zip sweatshirt, Hillary looks less Clinton and more Rodham than I have ever seen her outside of<\/span><a style=\"-webkit-font-smoothing: antialiased; box-sizing: inherit; text-rendering: optimizeLegibility; color: #1782a9; padding: 0px; text-decoration-line: none; font-family: Georgia, serif;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.thecut.com\/2016\/11\/how-vintage-hillary-clinton-photos-shaped-her-image.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">\u00a0college photographs<\/a><span style=\"color: #111111; font-family: Georgia, serif;\">. It\u2019s the glasses, probably, that work to make her face look rounder, or maybe just the bareness of her skin. She looks not like the woman who\u2019s familiar from television, from newspapers, from America of the past 25 years, but like the 69-year-old version of the young woman who came to the national stage with a wackadoodle<\/span><a style=\"-webkit-font-smoothing: antialiased; box-sizing: inherit; text-rendering: optimizeLegibility; color: #1782a9; padding: 0px; text-decoration-line: none; font-family: Georgia, serif;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.thecut.com\/2016\/06\/hillary-wellesley-commencement-speech-audio.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">\u00a0Wellesley commencement speech<\/a><span style=\"color: #111111; font-family: Georgia, serif;\">\u00a0in 1969. With no more races to run and no more voters to woo with fancy hair, Clinton appears now as she might have if she\u2019d aged in nature and not in the crucible of American politics. Still, this is not Hillary of the woods. She is reemerging, giving speeches and interviews.
