Calls Trump A Bullshitter \u2013 So Let\u2019s Recap Eight Years Of Obama\u2019s Bullshit<\/h1>\n

On Wednesday, PEOPLE Magazine released a preview of an upcoming issue<\/a>, titled \u201cThe Obamas; Their Lives Now\u201d, which includes commentary on Obama\u2019s \u201crelationship\u201d with President Trump:<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s nothing but a bullsh\u2013ter.\u201d<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Tell us how you really<\/em> feel, Obama, because after your oval office meeting with Trump, we never would have guessed that you two hated each other.\u00a0 But isn\u2019t this a major<\/em> case of hypocrisy on Obama\u2019s part, with a track record of lies and \u201cbullshit\u201d miles long?<\/p>\n

So let\u2019s take a minute and recap all of the bullshit former President Obama told the American public during his tenure.\u00a0 It\u2019s the only fitting rebuttal, isn\u2019t it?<\/p>\n

But first, let\u2019s start with the biggest hunk of bullshit out there \u2013 the fact that Barack and Michelle, after eight years<\/em> as President and First Lady, actually did a photo shoot and cover spread <\/em>for PEOPLE magazine.\u00a0 It isn\u2019t difficult to believe they did it, but seeing it is another thing altogether:<\/p>\n

After eight years, George W. Bush remained completely quiet through the entire Obama presidency; in fact, he spent a great deal of his time painting<\/a>, of all things.\u00a0 Bill Clinton racked up millions of dollars of speaking fees and got his wife a Senate seat, but never criticized or mentioned Bush at all during his term.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, it appears Obama misses being the celebrity-in-chief<\/a>, as this magazine spread indicates, but how about PEOPLE\u2019s claim and citation of David Axelrod in regards to the unspoken rule that ex-Presidents don\u2019t criticize the current commander in chief?<\/p>\n

But the former president has been meticulous since the election about not publicly violating<\/strong> that unwritten code of conduct among ex-presidents that bars criticizing whoever\u2019s currently in the Oval Office.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s very respectful of the appropriate role of a former president and that ex-presidents should not be looking over the shoulder of their successors and commenting on every decision,\u201d<\/strong> says Obama\u2019s long-time friend and political strategist David Axelrod, now director of the University of Chicago\u2019s Institute of Politics, noting how George W. Bush refrained from criticizing Obama.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

In what world is Axelrod (and conversely PEOPLE magazine, for publishing his commentary) living in, in which Obama has not criticized President Trump?\u00a0 Less than ten days after Trump took office, Obama did just that<\/a>:<\/p>\n

Through his spokesman, Mr. Obama said he was \u201cheartened\u201d by all of the anti-Trump protests that have erupted throughout the nation.<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

If you think Barack was the only Obama who criticized Trump, you\u2019d be wrong as well<\/a>:<\/p>\n

Michelle Obama on Friday criticized a Trump administration decision to delay federal rules aimed at making school lunch healthier, saying kids will end up \u201ceating crap\u201d instead.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cYou have to stop and think, \u2018Why don\u2019t you want our kids to have good food at school? What is wrong with you and why is that a partisan issue?\u201d Mrs. Obama said. \u201cWhy would that be political?\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

So much for that \u201cunwritten code\u201d Axelrod said Obama was upholding.<\/p>\n

Of course, it hardly tops Obama\u2019s biggest bullshit quote(s) of all:<\/p>\n

\u201cThat means that no matter how we reform health care, we will keep this promise to the American people: If you like your doctor, you will be able to keep your doctor, period. If you like your health-care plan, you\u2019ll be able to keep your health-care plan, period. No one will take it away, no matter what.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd if you like your insurance plan, you will keep it.\u00a0 No one will be able to take that away from you.\u00a0 It hasn\u2019t happened yet.\u00a0 It won\u2019t happen in the future.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Even The Washington Post<\/a>, of all places, was completely unable to defend<\/a> Obama\u2019s multiple quoted assurances; as The Daily Caller indicated on Jan 1, 2014<\/a>, when the law took effect, 4.7\u00a0million<\/em> Americans lost their health insurance because of Obamacare, with reports of far more<\/a> cancellations at later dates.<\/p>\n

Of course, as Free Market Shooter previously covered<\/a>, Obama\u2019s bullshit initially blamed insurers<\/a>, not his healthcare monstrosity, for the cancellations:<\/p>\n

\u201cOne of the things health reform was designed to do was to help not only the uninsured but also the underinsured. And there are a number of Americans, fewer than 5 percent of Americans, who\u2019ve got cut-rate plans that don\u2019t offer real financial protection in the event of a serious illness or an accident.<\/p>\n

Remember, before the Affordable Care Act, these bad apple insurers<\/strong>had free rein every single year to limit the care that you received or used minor pre-existing conditions to jack up your premiums or bill you into bankruptcy. So a lot of people thought they were buying coverage, and it turned out not to be so good.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

As one of the lucky ones<\/a> who managed to purchase coverage after the law was signed but before the exchanges took effect, I can unequivocally state that my policy would be at least double were I to repurchase similar coverage in the exchange today\u2026 and could be as high as triple.\u00a0 How many of those cancelled policies faced monster health insurance hikes?\u00a0 Was Obama\u2019s greatest bullshit claim, the blame that he assigned to \u201cbad apple\u201d insurers before he was forced to backtrack?<\/p>\n

How about another Obama quote, regarding \u201cscandal\u201d in his administration?<\/p>\n

\u201cWe have not had a major scandal in my administration.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

As The Blaze pointed out<\/a>, Obama\u2019s administration could be just as easily defined by the word \u201cscandal\u201d as it is by the word \u201cbullshit\u201d:<\/p>\n

Obama sidestepped<\/a> the comprehensive list of scandals that plagued his tenure as president. These scandals include but are not limited to: the Operation Fast and Furious gun walking scandal<\/a>, the IRS scandal<\/a> involving IRS workers intentionally targeting Tea Party organizations, and his own Secretary of State Hillary Clinton using a private email server<\/a>.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The Blaze also pointed out another fiction of Obama\u2019s, which again reference the same Washington Post that goes out of its way to defend him:<\/p>\n

\u201cThe day after Benghazi happened, I acknowledged that this was an act of terrorism\u201d<\/a><\/strong>
\nObama did refer to an \u201cact of terror\u201d in the immediate aftermath of the 2012 Benghazi attacks, but in vague terms, wrapped in a patriotic fervor. He never affirmatively stated that the American ambassador died because of an \u201cact of terror.\u201d Then, over a period of two weeks, given three opportunities in interviews to affirmatively agree that the Benghazi attack was a terrorist attack, the president obfuscated or ducked the question. So this was a case of taking revisionist history too far for political reasons.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

When it comes to Obama\u2019s Presidency, and the comparison to bullshit, nobody summed it up better<\/a> than Constitution.com:<\/p>\n

The two constants of the Obama era has been the president\u2019s willingness to lie to the American people, and the media\u2019s willingness to allow the president\u2019s lies to slide by uncondemned. The Obama years have been nothing more than a series of thinly veiled (and sometimes blatantly naked) lies, uttered to placate the citizens of the United States while the federal government ballooned beyond meaningful control. Barack Obama\u2019s legacy is one of unadulterated hubris, his efforts all focused on rending power from the people and handing it to bureaucrats, and America is fortunate to have survived this historically catastrophic presidency.<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Just take Obama\u2019s (and PEOPLE Magazine\u2019s) word for it though:<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s nothing but a bullsh\u2013ter.\u201d<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

But first ask yourself; is Obama referring to Trump, or just describing himself?<\/p>\n
