{"id":72959,"date":"2017-05-21T18:11:34","date_gmt":"2017-05-21T22:11:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/stateofthenation2012.com\/?p=72959"},"modified":"2017-05-21T18:11:34","modified_gmt":"2017-05-21T22:11:34","slug":"harvard-study-extraordinary-media-bias-against-trump","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/stateofthenation2012.com\/?p=72959","title":{"rendered":"Harvard study: Extraordinary media bias against Trump"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><!--more-->By Rick Moran<\/p>\n<p>A study prepared by the\u00a0Shorenstein Center on Media, Politics, and Public Policy at Harvard reveals a shocking level of media bias against President Trump. \u00a0This comes as no surprise to anyone \u2013 friend or foe of the president.<\/p>\n<p>But the extreme percentage of negative coverage of the president is absolutely breathtaking.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/admin.americanthinker.com\/images\/bucket\/2017-05\/198610_5_.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m amazed that the New York Times had 13% &#8220;positive&#8221; coverage of Trump, although Harvard academics may have a different definition of &#8220;positive&#8221; from yours or mine.<\/p>\n<p>Trump coverage was slightly more positive when it came to individual issues:<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/admin.americanthinker.com\/images\/bucket\/2017-05\/198611_5_.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/heatst.com\/culture-wars\/harvard-study-reveals-huge-extent-of-anti-trump-media-bias\/\">Heat Street:<\/a><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>The study also divided news items across topics.
