<\/strong><\/p>\nDebbie Schlussel,<\/strong>\u00a0a former Fox News guest, appeared on a local\u00a0radio show\u00a0on Friday and recounted\u00a0an incident where\u00a0Sean Hannity<\/strong> purportedly asked her to a\u00a0hotel, and when she rebuffed his advances, she claims, she was ostracized by the network star. The story has since gone viral garnering\u00a0headlines like \u201cSean Hannity Accused of Sexually Harassing Fox News Guest\u201d<\/a>\u00a0in publications like\u00a0The Daily Beast<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0The Huffington Post<\/a>.\u00a0<\/em>Now, in an interview with LawNewz.com<\/em> on Monday morning, Schlussel is denying that she was ever sexually harassed by Sean Hannity. While Schlussel stands by her description of the incident, Schlussel told us that she\u00a0doesn\u2019t believe\u00a0what happened between the two amounted\u00a0to sexual harassment by any legal definition.<\/p>\n \u201cI would never accuse him of that. Sexual harassment has a special meaning under the law, and I would never accuse him of that,\u201d Schlussel, an attorney herself, said. \u00a0Schlussel said\u00a0the interaction\u00a0happened in the early 2000\u2019s when Hannity\u00a0was in Detroit taping a show.<\/p>\n \u201cHe tried to get me to go back to the hotel after the show after he and his executive producer Bill Shine<\/strong> treated me horribly,\u201d she said on the radio program. Schlussel later clarified that it wasn\u2019t his hotel room, but rather his hotel. She told\u00a0LawNewz.com<\/em>\u00a0that she did go on the show following the incident, but after that was \u201cbanned from Fox News.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI never thought I was sexually harassed by\u00a0Sean Hannity, I thought he was weird and creepy not someone I liked,\u201d Schlussel said.<\/p>\n Following the radio interview on Friday, Hannity issued\u00a0a strongly worded statement denying\u00a0Schlussel\u2019s claims saying he plans\u00a0to take legal action against Schlussel for possible libel.<\/p>\n \u201cLET ME BE CLEAR THE COMMENTS ABOUT ME ON A RADIO SHOW THIS WEEK by this individual ARE 100% false and a complete fabrication,\u201d Hannity said in a statement obtained by LawNewz.com<\/a>. \u201cThis individual is a serial harasser who has been lying about me for well over a decade. The individual has a history of making provably false statements against me in an effort to slander, smear and besmirch my reputation.\u00a0The individual has not just slandered me over the years but many people who this individual disagrees with.\u201d<\/p>\n Schlussel responded to Hannity\u2019s legal threats, telling LawNewz.com<\/em>\u00a0she believed they\u00a0were \u201claughable,\u201d and that she is also contemplating countersuing\u00a0him based on his statements on Sunday in which he called her a \u201cserial harasser.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s defamatory,\u201d Schussel said, \u201cEverything I said was true, and truth is an absolute bar to defamation. He on the other hand has a murky record on truth.\u201d<\/p>\n The accuser has a history of making allegations against Hannity.\u00a0Back in 2010, Schlussel, who\u00a0Gawker\u00a0<\/em>claimed at the time was a \u201ccrazy birther blogger,\u201d\u00a0<\/strong>wrote a blog post\u00a0<\/a>claiming that the \u201cFreedom Alliance,\u201d a war veteran charity, which is supported by Hannity, was skimming donations, and was all a \u201chuge scam.\u201d<\/p>\n According to a 2010 letter obtained by\u00a0LawNewz.com<\/em>,\u00a0Thomas Kilgannon<\/strong>, the charity\u2019s founder and president, fired back in a note to donors:\u00a0\u201cthe blog posting accuses our friend Sean Hannity of personally benefiting from Freedom Alliance. This is FALSE. Freedom Alliance has never provided planes, hotels, cars, limos, or anything else to Sean. Sean gets nothing from Freedom Alliance except our gratitude for his personal generosity and for all he has done to help the troops and our organization.\u201d Hannity has reportedly donated more than a million dollars to the charity over the last several years.<\/p>\n On Schlussel\u2019s\u00a0blog, she has garnered a reputation for making sensational statements, including calling Robin Wiliams\u00a0\u201cselfish\u201d for committing suicide.\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n [image via youtube]<\/p>\n
