<\/a>Malik Obama, half-brother to former President Barack Obama, is an outspoken supporter of President Donald Trump on social media.<\/p>\nAnd what he shared Thursday immediately went viral \u2014 and has critics up in arms.<\/p>\n
Malik tweeted a picture of his half-brother\u2019s alleged Kenyan birth certificate with a simple comment: \u201cSurely. What\u2019s this?\u201d<\/p>\n

The picture immediately went viral, and had Barack supporters scrambling to explain.<\/p>\n
According to The Daily Mail<\/em>, the picture Malik shared is a long debunked forgery.<\/p>\n But hardcore critics remain unconvinced.<\/p>\n In December, for example, former Sheriff Joe Arpaio used his final press conference in office to present what he called proof that Obama was born outside of America.<\/p>\n And Dr. Jerome Corsi, author of the controversial best selling book,\u201dWhere\u2019s The Birth Certificate?\u201d still claims there are \u201cnine points of forgery\u201d that offer evidence the former president\u2019s birth certificate was originally created from one belonging to Johanna Ah\u2019nee.<\/p>\n Over the years, however, even the most outspoken critics \u2014 including Trump \u2014 have accepted that Obama\u2019s birth certificate, released by his administration in 2011, was real.<\/p>\n No matter where one stands, there are two things that are certain.<\/p>\n One, that Malik\u2019s tweet was a publicity stunt that worked spectacularly .<\/p>\n And two: No matter where you stand on the \u201cbirther\u201d controversy, this is a debate that will not fade.<\/p>\n
