From Breitbart<\/a>:<\/p>\n House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes (R-CA) said Tuesday that those who leaked the contents of former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn\u2019s phone calls \u201cbelong in jail.\u201d \u201cThat\u2019s nine leakers that all belong in jail,\u201d Nunes said.<\/p>\n \u201cThose nine people broke the law, clearly, by leaking classified information to anybody.\u201d<\/p>\n Flynn resigned late Monday night, after a Washington Post report<\/a> on Feb. 9 said he had privately discussed U.S. sanctions against Russia with a Russian ambassador during phone calls in December \u2014 despite assertions by Trump officials, including the vice president, that he had never done so.<\/p>\n The Post\u2019s report cited nine anonymous current and former officials \u201cwho were in senior positions at multiple agencies\u201d who \u201chad access to reports from U.S. intelligence and law enforcement agencies that routinely monitor the communications of Russian diplomats.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cAll of those officials said Flynn\u2019s references to the election-related sanctions were explicit,\u201d the report said.<\/p>\n Nunes said he also wanted to know how U.S. intelligence agencies were wiretapping Flynn\u2019s calls, which he said may also have been illegal.<\/p>\n The chairman said there are only two ways that intelligence agencies can listen in on an American\u2019s phone call \u2014 after obtaining a warrant, or inadvertently, such as in the case of Flynn speaking with a foreign official being spied on, which the report suggests was the case.<\/p>\n Nunes said \u201cit\u2019s pretty clear\u201d that there was no warrant.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s pretty clear that\u2019s not the case,\u201d he said. \u201cI\u2019m pretty sure the FBI didn\u2019t have a warrant on Michael Flynn \u2026 To listen to an American\u2019s phone call you would have to go to a court, there\u2019d be all that paperwork there. So I\u2019m guessing that doesn\u2019t exist.\u201d<\/p>\n In case Flynn was speaking to a foreign official \u2014 Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak in this case \u2014 Nunes said there should have been a process to mask Flynn\u2019s identity.<\/p>\n \u201cUnless it\u2019s a high-level national security issue, and then someone would have to unmask the name, someone at the highest levels, they\u2019d have to unmask that name,\u201d Nunes said. \u201cIt\u2019s a very high threshold to unmask an American citizen\u2019s name, that\u2019s a very high threshold, almost unprecedented. And if you were going to unmask it, it seems like you would immediately go get a warrant.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cIf they did that, how does all that get out to the public which is another leak of classified information,\u201d he added. \u201cWhoever did it, it\u2019s illegal.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n This was deep state sabotage<\/a>.
