Limbaugh Drops Bombshell on Developing Flynn Story\u2026 \u201cWhat Did Barack Obama Know?\u201d<\/h1>\n

Now that Donald Trump\u2019s national security adviser, Michael Flynn, has resigned<\/a>\u00a0after\u00a0not fully informing administration officials about his conversations with Russia\u2019s ambassador to the United States during the transition period, questions are swirling about what this means for the president.<\/p>\n

However, conservative\u00a0radio host Rush Limbaugh says that Flynn\u2019s actions and resignation raise some questions for another president \u2014 namely, Barack Obama<\/a>.<\/p>\n

According to Fox News<\/a>, Flynn\u2019s resignation was triggered by phone conversation Flynn had with Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak regarding sanctions, which could have technically violated federal law that prohibits private citizens from interfering in negotiations with foreign governments.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

On his Wednesday show<\/a>, Limbaugh said that this raises some major questions about the Obama administration.<\/p>\n

\u201cTo show you just how lame the media is and how little they\u2019ve got, they\u2019re already asking, \u2018what did Trump know and when did he know it,\u2019 and that\u2019s not the question. The question is, \u2018what did Barack Obama know and when did he know it and what has he engineered here?’\u201d Limbaugh said. \u201cThis all happened with Flynn back in December. Trump had not even been inaugurated yet. And it\u2019s still mysterious to me what really happened.\u201d<\/p>\n

Indeed, the Wall Street Journal<\/a> confirmed that intelligence sources had intercepted some of the calls, which would have meant that President Obama, who was still in office at the time, could have been aware of them.<\/p>\n

Limbaugh also pointed out Flynn\u2019s links to the Obama administration.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn September 2011, Mike Flynn was promoted to lieutenant general assigned to the office of the Director of National Intelligence by Barack Obama. On April 17, 2012, President Barack Obama nominated Michael Flynn to be the 18th director of the Defense Intelligence Agency,\u201d Limbaugh said.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Defense Department has its own intel operation and he ran it, as opposed to the Central Intelligence Agency. It\u2019s called the DIA, and it\u2019s big, and it\u2019s relevant, and it\u2019s important, and it does great work, and Flynn ran it after having been promoted to lead it by Obama in 2012. He took command of the DIA in July of 2012. He is a member of the Democrat Party, according to Wikipedia. Michael Flynn is a member of the Democrat Party.\u201d<\/p>\n

Limbaugh raises some interesting questions about the Obama administration\u2019s response to this. If the Wall Street Journal was correct, and intelligence officials knew about these calls, did they pass this information on to the Obama administration? One is hard pressed to think of a situation in which they wouldn\u2019t. If this was such a concern, why on earth didn\u2019t Obama take action?<\/p>\n
