Director Joss Whedon under fire for comparing Ivanka Trump to a dog<\/h1>\n

“Avengers” director Joss Whedon is on the attack against the president’s daughter.<\/p>\n

Whedon took to Twitter on Tuesday \u2014 where he’s been spewing anti-Trump lines for weeks \u2014 to insult Ivanka Trump and her husband Jared Kushner.<\/p>\n

“Hey, keep your eyes on this f—ing prize too. He’s a Voldemort in training,” the comic book creator wrote, along with a photo of Jared Kushner in the Oval Office.<\/p>\n

“Unlike the Pekingese he married under, can play the long game,” he continued, taking a jab at Ivanka.<\/p>\n

\u2018SNL\u2019 writer suspended indefinitely over Barron Trump tweet<\/a><\/p>\n

Fans were quick to question where the insulting attitude by the director came from.<\/p>\n

“Are you okay? You seem to be coming quite unhinged,” one user replied.<\/p>\n

Another added, “Just so we’re on the same page here. You just called Ivanka a dog because you don’t agree with Trump. Classy.”<\/p>\n

Whedon \u2014 who is often considered a feminist writer \u2014 was slammed for his derogatory comment about the daughter of the president.<\/p>\n

Jared Kushner\u2019s moment<\/a><\/p>\n

“Is that how you fight for women’s rights?” a Twitter user questioned.<\/p>\n

Adding, “Maybe next time just come out and say ‘b—h.’ You ain’t fooling anyone with ‘Pekingese.'”<\/p>\n

“Was it ok to attack Obama’s children? No. So stop attacking Trump’s children. People like you are the problem, just keep it civil,” a Twitter user wrote.<\/p>\n

The controversial words come just days after the “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” creator compared Nicole Kidman to a plastic Lady Penelope doll after she suggested Americans accept Trump as president.<\/p>\n

“Puppets for Trump,” he wrote with the image.<\/p>\n

His angry words did not stop at attacking Ivanka and Jared, hours later Whedon tweeted “We have a dictator.”<\/p>\n

“Wow,” he wrote. “We’re THAT country now.”<\/p>\n
