Trump Conducted Internal Sting To Rule Out Any Moles in His Team<\/h1>\n<\/header>\n

In an effort to rule out the possibility that members of his own administration might be leaking classified information, President-elect\u00a0Donald Trump conducted his own sting operation.<\/p>\n

In a news conference Wednesday, Trump revealed that he had set a trap to prove that those in the intelligence community were responsible for the leaks.<\/p>\n

He responded to a question from the crowd about allegations that his election team colluded with Russia<\/a> during the election.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cI think it\u2019s pretty sad when intelligence reports get leaked out to the press. First of all, it\u2019s illegal,\u201d Trump told reporters at Trump Tower.\u00a0\u201cThese are classified and certified meetings and reports.\u201d<\/p>\n

Then he explained how he figured out how some senior agents had been working against him.<\/p>\n

He said he considered the fact that it could be people on his team, so, in order to rule them out, he had an intelligence meeting and didn\u2019t tell anyone. He didn\u2019t even tell his executive assistant about the meeting.<\/p>\n

\u201cNobody knew,\u201d the president-elect continued.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe meeting was held. They left, and immediately the word got out that I had a meeting,\u201d he explained.\u00a0\u201cI don\u2019t want that. It\u2019s very unfair to the country. It\u2019s very unfair to our country what\u2019s happening.\u201d<\/p>\n
