Because even the language that developed the notion that Vladimir Putin took it upon himself and instructed the intelligence organs in Russia to go out and discredit Hillary Clinton. Hillary Clinton didn\u2019t need any help being discredited, she was quite effective at it herself,\u201d<\/em> Larry Johnson said.<\/p>\n<p><em>&#8220;It was not Vladimir Putin that put the email server in her bathroom,\u201d<\/em> Johnson added.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.rt.com\/op-edge\/372745-emails-democratic-assange-hack\/\" target=\"_blank\">READ MORE: \u2018Russia makes good Hollywood villain for US\u2019<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cIt was not Vladimir Putin who told Hillary Clinton to use a private email account and conduct US-government business over that account and to share classified information. And her repeated lying about it. The fact that you would just focus a story on it somehow makes you an agent of Vladimir Putin. This thing is so ridiculous. It\u2019s amusing we have talk about, but it\u2019s so serious because it shows just the level that the intelligence community in the United States has fallen to. They are playing and interfering in domestic policies,<\/em>\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<div class=\"arcticle__read-more read-more\">\n<div class=\"read-more__title\"><\/div>\n<p><a class=\"read-more__link\" href=\"http:\/\/www.rt.com\/op-edge\/372858-american-spies-rt-news\/\" target=\"_blank\"><span class=\"read-more__footer\">American spies would prefer if RT didn\u2019t report the news, thank you very much<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>The report lacks any factual evidence, because the intelligence services apparently don\u2019t have any, Larry Johnson believes. \u201c<em>I don\u2019t think they\u2019re hiding anything because they don\u2019t have anything. These are \u2018or and how\u2019 intelligence estimates as opposed to an intelligence analysis based on fact. There\u2019s no fact underlying this. There are analytical assumptions,\u201d<\/em> Johnson said.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cYou can tell that because whenever they use the language like \u2018we assess that\u2019 or \u2018we believe that\u2019 or \u2018it\u2019s likely that.\u2019 That means they don\u2019t know, because if you knew, you could say \u2026 in public \u2018according to multiple sources we know that.\u2019 You state facts,\u201d<\/em> he explained.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cThis thing it\u2019s a joke. If I\u2019m a Russian intelligence analyst, with one of your intelligence services, I would be suspicious and think \u2018What are the Americans up to? They really can\u2019t be this stupid.\u2019 And let me just reassure the folks on your side of the ledger \u2013 yeah, they actually are,\u201d<\/em> he added.<\/p>\n<p>When the intelligence community raises such assumptions, it should be really confident and unanimous about them. It was, however, only somewhat coordinated within three of the agencies, namely FBI, CIA and NSA, according to Johnson.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.rt.com\/viral\/372882-russia-intel-report-rt\/\" target=\"_blank\">READ MORE: \u2018They\u2019re kidding, right?\u2019 Social media unimpressed by intel report on Russia \u2018hacking\u2019 US election<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cIt was only CIA and FBI that \u2018strongly agree\u2019 but the NSA, who\u2019s the only one in that group that would actually have the physical evidence of the hacking, if that existed\u2026 took a middle of the road position,\u201d<\/em> Johnson told RT.<\/p>\n<p>The whole situation around the <em>\u201chacking\u201d<\/em> report gives an impression of a well-staged spectacle, Johnson believes.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cYesterday, the Arms Services Committee in the Senate holds a hearing alleging Russian hacking, about when hacks took place domestically in the United States and that Arms Services has no jurisdiction over intel side. That was entirely a propaganda ploy, and not a single journalist in the major outlets over here raised questions about that, it was an observed performance,\u201d<\/em> Johnson said.<\/p>\n<p>The attack on Russian media and RT specifically, undertaken in the report despite its theme supposedly being the <em>\u201chacking,\u201d<\/em> is quite understandable, according to Johnson, and emanates from hostility toward actually objective news coverage and jealousy towards RT being capable of such journalism.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cBecause you\u2019re actually a more objective news channel than Fox, CNN, MSNBC, the main stream media here in this country. I say that sincerely.
