Henry Kissinger has re-emerged in recent days as a major foreign policy
\nadvisor to president-elect Trump:
\nhttp:\/\/consortiumnews.com\/2016\/12\/31\/trump-and-revenge-of-the-realists\/<\/a><\/p>\n

The real question is “Did he ever go away?”<\/p>\n

We know from her comments that Hillary often spoke with him when she
\nwas Secretary of State. During the campaign, Trump said several times
\nby way of contrast that he would not look to Kissinger for advice.<\/p>\n

Yet here he is again at 93: a true “elder” statesman or an old meddler in
\nthe affairs of the country and the world?
\nhttp:\/\/www.veteranstoday.com\/2017\/01\/02\/will-kissinger-be-a-private-bridge-between-trump-and-putin\/<\/a><\/p>\n

For those who distrust him and prefer a less interventionist foreign policy,
\nit is way past time for this man with a checkered past to move on. Even if he
\nbrings a level of stability and “realism” to the Trump team, his appearance as
\na top-level advisor raises serious issues of the new president’s credibility.<\/p>\n

If you are determined “to drain the swamp” that is Washington, D. C., why look
\nto someone like Henry Kissinger who is considered a major alligator in that murky
\nrealm of slimy creatures who inhabit the Capitol?<\/p>\n

If you are so comfortable with an older voice, how about calling on Ron Paul for
\ninput on how to deal with the rest of the world. Paul is someone who represents
\nthe values Trump articulated during the campaign. He has none of the links to
\nthe Council on Foreign Relations or the Rockefellers and other Globalists that
\nTrump spoke so negatively about in order to win.<\/p>\n

It is difficult to get past the conclusion that The Donald is just a shrewd wheeler-
\ndealer businessman who, like the other politicians he frequently disparaged, will
\nsay anything to get elected and then do whatever they want after being elected.<\/p>\n

Is that true of Trump as evidenced by his new pal, Kissinger, who apparently influenced
\nhis choice of Rex Tillerson to head the State Department? Are we just seeing the
\nsame old wine poured into new bottles to fool the American public?<\/p>\n

I guess we will have to wait and see………..but it sure looks like it to me.
