During the campaign, Trump said several times
by way of contrast that he would not look to Kissinger for advice.

Yet here he is again at 93: a true “elder” statesman or an old meddler in
the affairs of the country and the world?
http://www.veteranstoday.com/2017/01/02/will-kissinger-be-a-private-bridge-between-trump-and-putin/

For those who distrust him and prefer a less interventionist foreign policy,
it is way past time for this man with a checkered past to move on. Paul is someone who represents
the values Trump articulated during the campaign.
