According to FBI officials, the bureau has instructed its New York field office to continue its investigation into the possible corruption of the Clinton Foundation. This is huge, and the Democrats are not going to like it.<\/p>\n
The instructions from the bureau reportedly told the agents to \u201cgo forward\u201d with their inquiry into the possible corruption and possible money laundering activities of the Clinton Foundation<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cThere were no instructions to shut it down, to discontinue or to stand down on the investigation, but to continue its work,\u201d a\u00a0former senior law enforcement official told The Daily Caller<\/a>.<\/p>\n The official claimed to have received this information from the bureau\u2019s headquarters in Washington, D.C., about a week ago, though he did not state that he knew who gave the orders.<\/p>\n After President-elect\u00a0Donald Trump<\/a> won the genreal\u00a0election, he stated that, though it had been a huge component of his campaign, he did not want to continue to seek the imprisonment of former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.<\/p>\n \u201cI don\u2019t want to hurt the Clintons, I really don\u2019t,\u201d he said in a November interview with The New York Times<\/a>.<\/p>\n However, he did not rule out investigation of the corruption in the Clinton Foundation, saying, \u201cWe\u2019ll have people that do things,\u201d which as The Times reported may have been \u201ca reference to the FBI or Republicans who might continue to press for prosecutions in the email or foundation cases.\u201d<\/p>\n This ongoing investigation is just one more way to \u201cdrain the swamp<\/a>,\u201d and it is absolutely necessary that corruption and \u201cpay-for-play\u201d politics be taken out of Washington altogether. We need people we can trust in positions of authority, ones who care less about self-interest and more about the interests of the American people.<\/p>\n The FBI is standing firm on its decision to attempt to protect our rights.<\/p>\n H\/T<\/p>\n
