Hillary Clinton will still face investigations into both her use of a private email server and the \u201cpay-to-play\u201d nature of the Clinton Foundation, according to chairman of the House Oversight Committee, Jason Chaffetz.<\/p>\n

Chaffetz told Maria Bartiromo on Fox\u2019s \u2018Sunday Morning Futures\u2019 the investigation \u201cabsolutely\u201d <\/em>continues.<\/p>\n

“This is the largest breach of security, perhaps, in the history of the State Department,”<\/em> he said. \u201cThere are dozens of people in that inner circle that we are looking at.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cWe have perjury issues that we still want the Department of Justice to look at. We have allegations of a quid-pro-quo, we don\u2019t know where they\u2019re [FBI] at in terms of their investigation into the Clinton Foundation, and the FBI director, we still have some questions.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

“It\u2019s this huge, massive mess that has to be cleaned up. So we would be remiss if we just dismissed it and moved on,”<\/em>Chaffetz said. “We have a lot of things that we have to fix, so it never ever happens again.”<\/em><\/p>\n

However, both president-elect Donald Trump and House Majority leader Kevin McCarthy have said a Clinton investigation is not a priority.<\/p>\n

\u201cLook, I\u2019m the majority leader, I set the agenda,\u201d<\/em> McCarthy told<\/a>\u00a0Fox News\u2019 Chris Wallace Sunday. \u201cThe agenda is going to be about job creation, it\u2019s going to be about reforming and repealing Obamacare. It\u2019s going to be on infrastructure. That\u2019s the focus that this election was about.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cI leave that portion to law enforcement,\u201d<\/em> he said in response to Wallace\u2019s question about what would happen to the investigation. \u201cThat\u2019s just the way I do it. Keep politics out of it. Let\u2019s create jobs in this country. That\u2019s our agenda.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n
